Some interesting test results to share.

Recently a friend with under school age children announced that his Hepatitis C had progressed to the stage that he was no longer a candidate for Interferon or had enough time to reach the top of the list for a liver transplant.

After personally talking to Rick Simpson, he asked me for support trying a gram of oil a day for 90 days and three of us pharmers pooled our oil reserves for 32 grams for the first thirty day, so we could have time to solicit donations of raw material. Our solicitation was successful and we subsequently delivered another 94.5 grams of honey oil in an oral med for the following 90 day test.

The debilitating symptoms were fatigue, Fibro Myalgia pain, and daily migraine headaches.

We are now 30 days into treatment and starting the 90 day test period. The patient reports that both the FM pain and the migraines stopped within a week into the program, though he still has low energy.

He is again enjoying life however and we will see where this leads.

I'll be interested to see how it goes...

Once his appetite (eating can be a chore when you know you're very shortly going to see that food again) is back up to par he should level out on the weak feelings. Did this individual continue to drink after he was diagnosed? I too suffer from said ailment and it robbed me of my vigor for sure. However my last blood work showed no signs of liver damage. I smoke for pleasure and to maintain a healthy appetite. Taking care of ones self is The Most Important factor here IMHO. I have had no Interferon or other treatments. It has been 2 years since my last major episode.

He has been a teetotaler as long as i have know him, and I have never asked if he has always been.

Good to hear that you are doing well just taking care of yourself!

Nice to read this one!
I´ve been living with Hepatitis C for more then 15years now.
I´ve been smoking weed for 23years and when i got to the GP in order to get Interferon back in 2002,he said to me that my Hepatitis C was assymptomatic. Meaning i had the liver of a healthy man of my age and weight ;) How cool was that?!
At the time i didnt dream about the curing properties of THC, but my body knew it very well allready.
Thx for sharing!
Peace

Good news! My patient's liver enzyme test results just came back and showed a 20% improvement this time!

The strain hasn't made noticeable difference on the pain relief, just some are speedier than others and depending on the time of day, you may wish to be wide awake or sleep. In this case, the biggest portion of the oil (>50%)probably came from Blueberry.

Doseage was 1 gram per day. Since the meds that I supply are at 62% honey oil, dosage is actually 1.6 grams split over three periods.

Have had Hep C for almost 40 yrs...Just diagnosed 13 yrs ago.The Hepdoc said that since I had already cirrhosis that the treatment for the Hep wouldn,t do any good ..lol
That was thirteen yrs ago and he said I had about five yrs left before my liver would shut down.and basically given my background I would not be a candidate for a transplant...I got the Hep from a habit of using needles ...Long time ago.
In my part of the world the docs assess your history and if you were a former druggie then you are not recommended for a transplant.
I basically gave up on them (Docs) and today I,m still pretty healthy and pretty much self medicate with herb......can,t get a grow liscense because of my past history.I am takin morphine,tranquilizers,anti-depressants etc..I often told my Doc all I really want is marijuana legally ..but he won,t sign the papers....so I have to break the law to get what works for me....It,s a strange world we live in.
sorry for rant....just wanted to say how the medical system works where I live (Canada)
good luck to everyone else in a similar situation..

It helps me with mine.

I know DAILY use is a risk.

However, not sleeping for 4 nights puts me at risk, too, so whatever the real doctors say, I'll stick with what I know works.

I've tried prescript pills, every one said 'do not take if you have liver disease' on the instructions. I'd need these every night - they'd kill me long before herb would!

Hep C and MJ don't mix ask any real doctor, even the ones that give MJ recomendation
My buddy, Swampy, was given 90 days to live ..

THIRTEEN YEARS AGO

Hep c .. liver to far gone ..

He passed away when he got cancer. They took away his marijuana and put him on hard drugs.

He lasted only about three weeks after they took it away. The Hep C came back and killed him.

i also have hep-c and id like to know how one with hep -c can get a liver transplant without treating the disease first,. i asked and they laughed at this idea. why when the blood is still infected and will kill the new liver as well.
the only positive ive heard from cannabis and hep c is it makes the interferon easier to handle and less dropping out.
i work with a real Dr on this stuff. Dr Hornby. pHd in human pathology leading reasearcher in medical cannabis
and our alt/ast and others are up and down all the time.
ive had it 7 or so years and my counts are still to low for treatment,. no oils or weed did this,. was plain simple stop hurting myself and eat right, if our body is in good health we can fight it on our own with natural deffences....not cure..but helps

good luck with it

Are you using the rick simpson method of oil making, or a butane extraction?

I've made this med with both ethanol and butane.

I've also extracted with butane and refined it using ethanol, as well as extracted with alcohol and refined with hexane and then alcohol again.

Rick Simpson advocates naptha or alcohol, and alcohol is easier for me to purge.

I have never used naptha, though I have used hexane, one of the major components of white gasoline, or naptha.

Some day I will just for the experience, but it is easier for me to dissipate butane fumes safely, than operate a rice cooker full of boiling gasoline.

That is not a condemnation, simply a note that it is not a process that would lend it self to my kitchen, garage, or patio at my current address.

As my aging memory serves me, Naptha is a blend of different boiling point constituets, the lowest of which is hexane and the highest of which is heptane.

The heptane is harder to remove because of its higher boiling point close to that of water.

This patient believes the alcohol med more effective, though it was butane extraction that produced his first profound relief.

His desire to switch to alcohol was primarily fueled by Bayareacanabis, on the Phoenixtears site, who has test data showing the CBD content of alcohol extraction to be higher than butane or naptha.

My patient is his own man and is of above average intelligent and of sound mind. Ostensibly his desire to continue with alcohol is based on his own testing experience, so I will be watching that closely and investigating further...........

Giving this a bump, as I have Hep C and about to start treatment. ( Sovaldi, Ribavirin, & Peginterferon)
Known 19 yrs. but never wanted to deal w/ the interferon treatment and low success rates.
Things have certainly gotten better, and after a biopsy last yr. now's the time to treat.

Originally I was seeing a homeopathic practitioner, who got me to stop smoking for 6 mo. and that got my AST/ALT #'s normal!
I gave up booze & coffee, but went back on the weed.

Any Hep C dialogue appreciated.
