Fastest seed to harvest auto's.

Hey everyone.
I am 7 weeks into my 2nd Russian Rocket Fuel grow, and my first one finished in 11 weeks, but the bud was only 5% amber. I can finish a regular flowering strain in 12 weeks, so this seems like a waste of electricity to me!


Now I am on the search for strains that really do finish from seed to weed in 8-9 weeks. I understand most breeders claim these times, but I have noticed from watching this forum that most still take 10 to 11 weeks to finish.


So I ask you, what strains are going to save me that 2-3 weeks? I understand sour 60 has some pheno's that finish in 60 days.

Would it be hard to isolate this?

I am waiting on my Purple Jems to arrive in the mail, if they ever do . These supposedly finish in 60-65?

Any other quick strains out there?

Not a huge concern of mine. I figure if I can get 10g/plant id be happy. If you can pull an ounce in 70 days from AK, there must be a quicker strain that can get 10g in 60 days?

It depends the pheno really....I've seen huge masterlows and I'm running 50 masterlow right now under alot of light so I definetly will big yeilds. also the time of flower is pretty short but sativa leaning phenos will be longer....you could always breed for the fastest/biggest yeilder, but it takes time...I been trying to perfect masterlow for 3 years ontop of how long M used it....

Boy, from that it sounds like I should just bite the bullet and wait the extra couple weeks.

The RRF was a very racy and anxious high. I want something a little more relaxed
and body oriented.

most auto's are supposed to be done in 60 days but there are a number of factors that could make it longer.

Well it also depends when you personally like harvesting, but Masterlow is usually 55-65 for a nice yeild plus best window high-wise.....factors that could be anything from stress to nutes or that taproot getting fucked, I think everyone has realized the TAPROOT of AUTOFLOWERING plant really dictates the height of those ladies...also no stress really helps the plant like no transplants for example..

My experience with MDanzig Sour 60 was 10.5g dry; it was cut down at 58 days.
Has the quick hitting up high that goes away after 1/2 hour or so leaving a nice after-effect. Trying a second run in hydro - it will probably go longer than using coconot & perlite, but should yield more because it is under a 400w instead of cfl.

The Original LR that I got and have been working since 2003, all finish in around 60 days. It is still by far the fastest to fully ripen, some plants are ready to cut at day 50 from seed. I have a AF SOG done with these plants HERE on ICMAG and they are not crappy yeilding nor low potency. So super fast AF strains are possible and they are out there, currently trying to get one that always finishes in 50-55 days or less. That is the ultimate goal, to produce a High Yielding AF strain with good potency that finishes in the shortest amount of time. It can be done and a lot of people are getting closer to that goal.

All this time I was thinking the original LR was obsolete in yield and potency compared to new autos on the market!

Nice read ICC. This interests me. The smoke was decent as well? Any medical value?
If I crammed 10 plants under a 150hps, do you think I could pull 14g each in 58 days from seed?

I've been growing my autos outdoors but just started my first indoor grow. Outdoors the fastest I had any finish was 11 weeks. They took 4 weeks to sex so the indication was the lower light slowed everything down. My indoors plants showed sex at 18-19 days and the growth is comparatively faster. I expect they should finish somewhere around 9 weeks. That's running a 400 watt HPS. Since you're only running 150 watts I'd expect they would take longer. It seems to me there is a definite correlation between the amount of light and the time it takes them to grow and finish.

If I crammed 10 plants under a 150hps, do you think I could pull 14g each in 58 days from seed?

For what it is really worth, a week longer really isnt going to kill me. Especially if I double the yield for each plant. Then again, I wont be able to fit as many plants under my 150hps, unless they're branchless kola only type plants.

will not be easy to get 14g each plant under a HPS in soil, if you are running DWC then yes it can be done and then some. Check out KrazyCure threads. He does 150watt DWC and now 250watt DWC. Hydro is the easiest way to get high yeild from limited AF plant numbers.

As for the single kola type AF ,, working on it...AF SOG strain.

I am looking to stick with my methods of soil and hps for fact of ease and convenience.

The RRF I've been growing have been given ZERO nutes. Plain water from seed to bud. There is enough in the soil to make it go 60-70 days. The first RRF I grew under 149 watts of CFL, and yielded 16g and 60 seeds. I have two more that are approaching 8 weeks from planting in soil under a 150 hps that are not pollinated. On Day 54 now. Hope those will be done by day 70. I bet I will get around 1.5oz combined.

i agree with icecoldcrickets the lr2s is the quickest ive seen but then you still have to wait dry then cure so its always around 70days plus unless you like unfinished green some times you just have to sit it out peace

Maybe I will do a run of sour 60, and keep the micro-pheno that finishes in 8 weeks. That would be perfect, considering it has decent medical quality.
