Cool glad I could help?!Nah leave it!
Most people want more than anything to be helpful. Fights break out all the time over who gets to be helpful. So they come see your grow, which is cool.

Keep checking those trichs bud ..The plants will let you know. How long you think I got left?
When about 75% to 80% of the white bud hairs turn brown or red they should be ready detone.
Well I'm 51 and don't have your eyes. Sorry I'm just old.
I don't disagree with you, I use a magnifying glass I just cannot see that small.I can't see them without assistance either. I can use a magnifying glass, a jewler's loupe, a microscope... all cheap and available to most people. I choose to use my point and shoot 5 year old digital camera. No matter how you do it, it's the trichs that matter, not the hairs.
This is not an accurate way to gauge harvest time.
It's not the bud hairs that you're looking at for that coloration, it's the trichomes. When the trichomes are cloudy with amber starting to show is a good time to harvest. Some people like to harvest a little before, and some a little after that.

I hear you, but some dudes just need to glance at a plant. The method may not be reliable, but the dude is. Know what I mean?
Sort of the way birds don't need to squeeze or smell a cherry to know it's ripe. So the cherries with a chunk missing are the sweetest.
Yeah that How long has it been in 12/12?
It's all good detone man. If you can see the trichomes that's great no problem. I'll give him a star for being more accurate than I. I just have trouble seeing that small so I go with what I know, I've never had a problem. I understand he's probably a young guy like you, that's cool. He just needs to understand that everybody has different ways of doing things. He's cool and probably knows a lot and that's good, I'm sure I could pick up some new stuff from him. He just could use a little less attitude. As I said it's all good man.I've had a friend thats been growing a long time that also told me to chop them around a little above 3/4 amber hairs. Not bad advice at all ghost. Other guy needs a hug
