Oooohhhhh yum.Dybert.. that is totally smiling at you.
I love to make BHO, planning on making some today. I have used 3 differnt types of butane, I like either Luicinne (or something similar spelling to that) which was quadruple distilled and the current butane I'm using is quintuple distilled.
I use the sugar leaves from my trim and the water buds (the little useless buds growing at the bottom of the plant). 4-6 oz of trim will produce roughly 4-5 grams of BHO with the quintuple distilled butane.
I keep my BHO in the freezer after all the butane has evaporated and it has been in a warm water bath for a little bit to burn off even more leftover butane. Even still BHO IMHO is the stickiest stuff I've ever come across, it makes tar look like hand lotion. I keep a razor blade and chip off peices and bring my loaded bowl to the freezer and I get the frozen bho placed on top of the loaded bowl, then I slowly melt the BHO all through the entire bowl and let it soak in for a minute. Patients isn't one of my vitues, but I am patient with working with BHO, it is sooo worth it. The smoke away, until you get to where you want to be, Just don't plan on doing too terribly much afterwards.
I like to make my BHO with a lot of differnt trim from at least 4 differnt strains so you get an all around effect.
