Thanks everyone. Yes, please share your pics on this thread. Not a problem.

Below is some updated Bud Porn. Things are coming along very nice for my first grow. I have been hit with the Powdery Mildew a few times which I believe has reduced my results. I got the problems sorted out, so next round should be even better.

Also, next round, I am pretty sure I am going to start flowering them at 8-12 inches. Right before flipping to flower I am going to trim all branches on the lower 1/2 of the plant. Also, cut anything but the sun leaves. I really just want the lollipop-sea of green going on. I am sure I will get it all sorted out over the next several grows.

What do you PH your nutes to? How much run off do you try to achieve?
5.0-5.7 input ph...
water 1/5 volume of container, every 48hrs.
run-off is drawn up by plant, or evaporates.
Edit: Hmmm... must have been an off-med day for me. *sigh* Totally misunderstood the post and ripped them for other posts. Gah! I'm actually interested in lower P testing. Figures, eh? My apologies Wait.
yes, phosphorus seems to be over-abundant in many formulas.
low levels in both veg & flower seem viable.
they need far more cal, mag & potassium - along w/ the nitrogen many neglect during bloom.

1n:.5p:2.5k ratio seem to work well...
there are many plants that only use 50ppm phophorus, just needs to be supplied @ steady rate thru-out, like nitrogen.

18 days in veg, from clone. Switching to flower today most likely. Here is an updated picture from last night (21 days in veg). I just installed the drip lines. Up to this point I have been hand watering.

I suspect if I added CO2 I could cut my veg time in 1/2. I have yet to find a CO2 system that is under $500 though
.

check out the hydrogen water cooled co2 burner, its like 350, plus 200 for the controller, i just baught 2 systems for 1000$, check it out www.watercooledgardens.com

if anyone can prove to me that cannabis even responds at all to more than ~90ppm of P, i'd be happy to change my views on things...

only in a sealed room with CO2 supplimentation will you see benefits to more then 1k ppm.
most of my starins max out at 1100ppm, and thats for huge plants.
small plant sogs' running @ 700-800 i find perfectly suitable.

Don't bother with co2 its only good with sealed rooms with split ac and 100% temp control, with air cooled hoods and shit.
exactly.

op-
so maybe you can tell me why u chose a black tray?

i know the amount is small but they do absorb more heat and reflect less then the white ones....

Nice to see this thread bumped up.

Black tray was all that was available at the store. I really didn't think the table reflection made much of any difference. Though, I guess any more light is better.

I am still rocking this setup. Bumping up to 25 or 30 plants (between grows at the moment). Also moving to 4x4 rockwool (was using 6x6 last run), these in small square pots with hydroton lined top to block algae and other nasty growth. I also bought a Sun systems magnum xxxl hood. It's great for my 4x4 table.

are we missing some post here? went from 3-18-10 to 6-12-10. are the pics from 3-18 the final results? i do a sea of green in rockwool and have been wanting to try the lucas formula. thought it might be 2 much for them since the lucas formula is based on using pots filled with hydroton in a flood tray. did u have to do any flushing along the way. by the way, i LOVE rockwool 2!

Yeah, I didn't update the finish with that last grow. I had pm issues that consumed me. I have since started and completed another grow SOG with 19 plants. Went great, except for an under watering issue. I did something dumb this last grow and attempted to try 1 dripper per plant. This was a bad idea. I corrected this mid-grow but I had some stunting because of it.

Lucas is just fine. The plants love it. I never flush with water. Since I use House and Garden Drip Clean in every nute batch, I really don't need to flush until the last 10-14 days before harvest.

Instead of normal flushing you can just run your drippers for like 10 mins once every 3 weeks or so. Flushing with full strength nutes is a better flush anyway. Especially with Drip Clean.

I am thinking of doing a complete step by step guide to my setup with full pics and journal at some point. Though, I want to work out a few kinks before doing so.

I swear this is such an easy and very productive system. Also very efficient. No resivior heat issues. No resivior nute fluctuations. Natural wet and dry swings for your plants that the soil guys swear by. Flexibility because it's very similar to a soil grow. Crap, you could put one of your plants outside if you wanted to finish it there and just hand feed. There is just so much flexibility. Whenever I leave town for 3-4 days I am never concerned. Even if my pump died (worst thing that could happen) the plants would still be fine.
