Help choosing seeds for first seed run

Hey all.. I know there are a million "help me pick a strain" threads, i apologize for making one more.

I've never grown from seed and looking to start with an order from the boo in the next couple days.

I'm maybe looking for 1-2 fairly reasonably priced strains. I'd love to go for something rez puts out, but i really need variety and dont have a huge seed budget.

With that being said

im looking for seeds available on the boo:

1. a nice calming relaxing strain.. not couchlock but not heady and racy.. just sort of slows you down and calms you without a burnout

2. a high energetic sativa, but this could also be filled with sams sk x haze freebies (anyone know if those are still the freebies)

3. Im open to any recommendations, its just hard with so many subjective opinions on strains i'm just looking for some specific recommendations as this will be my first run from seed

Yield isnt that important; this is all for personal use. Quality and potency are most important

id go for the chuck d or the chunky cheese,


id prob lean towards chunky cheese, because that clone breeds very well

If you are looking for reasonable prices, I would look into Nirvana seeds. AK48, Bubblicious, Aurora Indica. These are quality without the outrageous "fanboy" prices.

That Chuck D actually seems like a really interesting strain.. theres not alot of info on the site but i think i might check that out..

I was looking at maybe some bog gear or connoisseur sssdh.. but those are both more than what id like to spend per pack, and would limit me to probably 1 pack.

how is the potency of the lower price beans? Potency is the most important quality as i have a high tolerance.

Would it be more worth it to go with a single pack of something like bog lifesaver and then balance it out with the freebie sk x haze?

im open to anything thanks for the help

1. super skunk, shiva skunk, chronic, northern lights, WHITE RUSSIAN ...
2. durban poison, c99, ssh, satori, bushmans, haze hybrids in general, white widow (found the nirvana version to be quite interessting), kali mist ...

if you have the money for quality seeds - white russian is the way to go for #1
and concerning #2 satori should suit your needs pretty well ... from my experience african sativas are very euphoric and trippy but not as potent as haze hybrids.

I might go with satori.. only heard good things about that strain... also might go with the OJD mixed pack as well..

Don't go with the Chuck D. The high is quite racy, certainly not relaxed. Here is a small grow report i wrote about it earlier: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=2894989&postcount=798.

Satori is an excellent choice for the high you're looking for and also really inexpensive and easy to grow so a great choice for a beginner. Potency is very high, as is yield even though you didn't care about that. I also have personal experience with this strain so I'm not just talking out of my ass but unfortunately never wrote a grow report.
