i flipped the switch on the 6 girls on friday.. so its day 2 of flower.. it will only be 4 weeks before my tent is filled with super potent casey colas
.. the last casey could have weight in at 5-6 oz's but i took a bunch from her early, and chopped at week 7 day 1.. still, i got 4 oz's of very very strong smoke.. the casey's resin is en mass and flammable.. kind of a crazy weed.. considering how extremely fast it finishes, and compared to how extremely fast it it grows, and how extremely potent it is.. The the growth characteristics r amazing.. outgrows everything else near it that isnt pure or mostly sativa
theres no gaps in the canopy this time

Are you saying this finishes in 4 weeks?
On the first run you said you flipped to 12/12 on 10/28/09 and on 12/5/09 you posted the Casey was finished.
What am I missing? There is no way Casey Jones is this fast.

this strain i can start picking from in week 5, and will cut late in week6, or week 7.. i will try and let go longer this time tho, we'll see

I just wanted to comment on yields out of a HomeBox Small. (If I may)
I have one I now use for veg.....but I used to use it for flowering. I had a 600W HPS hanging over 9 ladies from clone in 3 gallon soil pots.
I pulled 14 ounces out of that rig. I was pleased with that. Homebox is a top quality tent as well!
I'll continue watching yer thread as the gens are tops!

resin almost coming, when i take them out of the tent, the caseys flop wide open.. they could be in a tent twice as big and still fill it up..
the sour grape n odyseey r smaller but denser and have a potent smells
they were out getting their spinosad treatment

thx admiral canna, the caopy is pretty thick, bud sites from wall to wall with no gaps.. i suffocated them at night but now my vortex4" runs 24/7.. i would kick myself in the ass all day for it but i dont have health insurance.. anyway, they were not so affected as to effect my yield i think.. just not perfect how i like em.. only 3 or 4 leaf blades got the claw, and afew leaf stems turned red before i realized somthing was wrong.. we'll see in about a week if things are were they should be.. week foour is when the action begins!

overcrowded, thought it would increase yield but did not, I think it would be best to fill the up with large main colas.. like 16 plants in 1 gallon pots... 16 main colas instead of 4 mains, and 30 straggglers..
Also I added nitrogen while they were in veg, I will not do that next time, its too risky to the flowers

smoke report is in... The sour grape is amazing.. quite stoney..knockout weed.. it was the first to show trichs, and by trichs i mean a snow storm.. I usualy dont see snow on my plants in week 3, bu the sour grape will do.. It taste pretty hashy, and ofcourse, like sour grapes.. 2 bong rips got me feelin really stoned, one more should do it.. It gets a 10 out of 10 because shit I buy at the club doesnt come close... the main cola is a womper that grows in all directions..yielded a bit over an oz, the main cola weighd 10 grams.
I havnt chopped the odyssey or casey jones yet, they cannot support their own weight, it is week 6 day 4..

got about 6 ounces of really good bud.. i was using a 600w, so i got a very low gpw ratio, but i was using a 2'7" x 2'7" tent, and i chopped on week 7 day 3.. I dont feel like it was too early, because the quality is superb.. the run down:
sour grape: (oaksterdam cut) puts on a ton of resin at week 3 flowering, doesnt stretch too much, yield is about average, calyxes shoot out everywhere like a sativa. heavy main cola is possible. not resistant to powdery mildew. can be chopped at 42 days, very narcotic, a complete resin monster, just cant handle mold. the stems of this plant cannot support their own bud weight
odyssey: (oaksterdam cut) this strain is unique, it makes very dense rock hard buds. The smell is sweet and the high is very strong hybrid. It knocks you out and spits you up. Because it is very dense, my main cola got bud rot and i had to remove about a gram from it. This strain also finishes early and has alot of resin, average yield, but again, a sucker for powdery mildew. this plant can easily support its own bud weight. 2x stretcher
Casey Jones: (oaksterdam cut) Casey is a complete pleasure, she put on resin and calyx formation about a week behind the odyssey / sour grape but by week 6 she has to be supported due to her heavy colas. She gives a 3-4 times stretch in the first 4-5 weeks of flowering, this plant is an extremnely fast vegger, the quality and well-roundedness of the high is unique. Best of all this plant is resistant to mites and powdery mildew. The yield is good, the colas will keep growing till week 9. Most nugs will be bigger than coke cans.
growing method and setup:
I use a homebox small which is 2'7" by 2'7". I use plain foxfarm soil in 5 gallon grow bags. I split one bag of fox farm between four 5-gallon grow bags. So each plant gets about 2.5 gallons of plain foxfarm. During veg I water with plain ro water, and once I might add a very miniscule amount of GH maxigrow. (approx 1/10th tspn per gallon) During flower, I use a miniscule amount of maxi bloom every other watering, and a organic fertilizer (tea used only once or twice or not at all). Inside the tent is a 600w hortilux hps in a sunsystem hood. It is cooled completely by a 4" fan mounted on top the tent. I use the dry exhaust air to dry the bud, it works excellent and the buds dry in 3 days. I treat powdery mildew with solutions of baking soda or skim milk. That is really all I do. I gave up hydro due to the pump noise, so I can sleep next to my grow. 2 week veg.

here are some pics from veg, it is week 2 day 3 flowering now. Once resin pops out in about a week I will snap a pic.. the tent is mostly full and should put out at least what I got last time.. maybe. My stash is running low, but I will make it to the 4th, possible 5th week if I am lucky and can start picking off little under nugs as I commonly do. By the 6th week Im already spliffin. I havnt spent any money on weed in whats going to be nearly a year. In my eyes, that is thousands of dollars I am saving. Anywho, I have plans on possible going vert, whatever I can do to maximize yield in this tent ya kno?
I got the GC and OG's to bush out by FIM/topping and fan leaf removal 1 week into veg, they bushed out nicely, the hindu x skunk and haze x skunk got LST'd. I watered them with Humboldt Bushmater in the beginning of flower at 2 tspn per gallon... So far they are short as fuck and seem to like it that way. I think the OG is getting its ass kicked by a few mites, either that or theres a def.

this is the haze skunk I got as a cut from oaksterdam sr71, it smells so godamn good, the smelliest one out of the bunch, it really hits the senses, kinda like potpouri

Hindu skunk is an okay plant, the aroma isn't really my cup of tea, it reminds me of Indian food. I would describe it as some type of Asian spice with sweet skunk tones. However the high is good, and it is good medicine. It can definitely get the job done and gives my gums an electrifying buzz.
This green crack is the real deal. I could write a short book on it, but what I will leave you with is that it is an awsome little plant. The aroma is deep, and extremely complex. The list of fruits that one can smell in this is long. Sometimes I pick it up and smell strawberry, other times, intense lemon, yet at others, it just seems sweet and skunky. One friend of mine called it fruity happiness, which I think describes it perfectly.. It's a sweet fruit sativa in a 50 day indica form. The succulence is visually appearant.
