New indo spot need some help!

Howzit folks..?? I found the perfect indoor spot its only 4' D x 5' W x 7' tall... I only grow for myself and absolutely DO NOT SELL A trich off of it , but i do share and give some away at times... I dont grow 500 gazillion plants at one time, i grow 3-4 perpetually. If i dont like a certain flava it's 86'ed and something else is started. So my need and desire is this, I have designed how i can veg/clone then keep a few moms as well as flower in that area mentioned earlier, Can you all with yer great creativity design and post a possible drawing of how you would set it up in this thread how you would design the space if it were yours? Puuuulease... I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanx for all your time and help.. peace n pufs..

Ohh i have no drawing capabilities on this focking computer so that is why i didnt post my hand drawn design... hehe..

Uh before I post the advice, can I ask why it matters if you sell it or not? I really think there are only 4 out of about 80K that care.

Ok, got that off my chest.

4X5, is that going to be just a flower room or does it need to be both?
Do you have power in the space or is it close by?
How will you plan on watering, or getting water in and out of the space?
Is it insulated? Can you heat and cool it (if it gets cold or hot where you live)

If just a flower room, I'm thinking a pair of 600's aircooled with a 6" vortex, with another 8" fan on a scrubber for exhaust, and a dehuey, plug em all into a simple temp/humidity controller and put the lights on a timer. Put 4 smallish plants under each light. Handwater with a bucket of nutes and pots of soil until you get the hang of the environment there.

it has power in it, it is insulated, and can be cooled and heated.. water is at the place and all gurls will be hand watered since its such a small grow.. And it needs to be all veg/clone flower and mom but can be divided...
I have a 400 MH a 250 hps and prolly going to buy another new cool tube 400 or 600 not sure yet.. the 400 mh is a dinosaur though so i may just toss it.. depends... As for me stating that i dont sell its not to see who cares its just like the peeps that state they are prop215 or whatever it is.. thats all.. its my way of hoping those 4 you speak of that care are not po po.. no biggie.. thanx for your advice on setup.. i also am looking for a way to set up the different areas.. veg and clones on a shelf on top then bottom underneath them flower next to that moms.. peace n pufs..

Id split the space into a 3.5x4 flower area with a 600, possibly 1000 if u can cool it. In the other 1.5x4 space put a wire shelf in the middle and put a set of 4' floro tubes in the top part and another set in the bottom part. The top part of that area is for mothers and clones, bottom is for veg. Put you air intake in the bottom of the floro room, on the opposite side of flower room. then put a hole in the top part of the floro room going into the flowering area. Run a 6" duct from that hole all the way to the bottom of the flower room. This does 2 things, makes a light baffle btw the rooms and puts the flower room intake on the bottom, where it belongs. Hang a 6" vortex on top of flowering room, run duct to an air cooled reflector. From air cooled reflector run more duct going into carbon filter hanging up by top of the flower room. Done.

thanx thats what im looking for different ideas maybe mold a few together ya know.. thanx for your inpu brother thats close to what i was thinking.. I have acces to plywood and 2x4 so i will build the shelves similar to the wire type like what you talked about.. the floor is concrete, the grow will have only two sides a back and a side L shaped im closing off the front and other side will be the entrance so you cant see it when you look in.. so ill walk past the veg/clone moms room, and then i will be facing the flower room.. If that makes sense.. it will be tight for sure.. peace n pufs..

Plywood is ok, but i mentioned wire shelves because they won't restrict any airflow or light. It would also be a good idea to hang the wire shelf from chains so u can raise or lower it as you please.

ahh good idea i didnt think of that.. I wonder if i should set it up by building two different closet type areas top and bottom with wire rack in middle of veg/clone room for air & light distribution, then next cloest will be flowering on bottom and moms on top.. And run the ducting the way you said earlier.. peace n pufs.

what about 2 areas, one for moms & clones and one for bloom... one above the other, making the bloom area shorter but wider, then just root a toon of clones from the moms and put em straight into 12/12 with just a few days veggin under the flouros in the mom 1/2. also what about using a pair of 400 CMHs? u can use ur old 400 hps ballast and just get 1 more 400w hps , get 2 CMH (Philips only - safer) lamps.

They put off much less heat but killer output, good for small space...

wow im stoned - ton of clones not toon, and i mean a lot - each will be just 1 bud, but u do like 30-40 at a time.

The 400 u have is mh - dont use a CMH with it. what about just using a 250 CMH and gettin a new 400 hps to run CMH and just doin 650 w? i think much more than that may be a bit of overkill for the space, and you could always upgrade later to another 400 get u up to 800w

shit m8, why waste what he's got - just leave the 400 MH in, and add a 250 CMH, then when he gets another large ballast the 250 or the 400 would be his veg light ☺

thats kinda what i was thinking, the 250 is HPS.. keep the 400 mh as a veg light then buy me another 400 cool tube HPS and have 650 of flower power.. i have 2 4 ft car shop lights for veg/clone it works good...

And maybe two seperate boxes will work out. clone/veg above flower and then moms on side... two separate doors... peace n puffs

Vertical set up.

Stack your 250 HPS under the 400 CMH. Position a fan directly below the lights blowing straight up. That will be about all the cooling you'll need.

Don't worry about rotating the plants or anything, just let them grow naturally towards the light. You may need to do some training if they get too close.

You can do just a few plants like you want, top them multiple times and fill in that space around the light in a 360* the best you can. Just veg under the lights for now, acquire a few CFL'S for keeping a mother (if you want) and for rooting clones. I think you'll find a SOG is more efficient way of producing a constant supply of smoke. It'll be the cheap way to do it too, as you won't need to buy a lot of veg power.

Why vertical? In a traditional garden, you strive for the 1 gram/watt mark. In a vertical garden, you can exceed 2 gram/watt. Efficiency is what its about. Go SOG and you'll produce the most bud for the least cost to yourself in terms of equipment and electricity.
