Was looking at getting a new carbon filter and figured since I'm upgrading soon, I might as well buy big!!

i think as long as you are using the correct size fan you should be ok.not too experienced but from what ive learned from the site i think so.

That can looks bigger than the cab! odor control is needed regardless of what way sometimes :)

Good job man, I think its hard to overkill most things in growrooms, except maybe nutes. Big fans, big filters, big lights, big AC's, big water and oxygenation, big plants:

=BIG BUDS!

There's good reason behind all of it, but it sure as shit aint cheap.

Way overkill. But... I guess its good to have more, than less. a 33 would have been more than sufficient.

I say if the neg pressure doesn't colapse the tent then run with it :)

Nope. Plenty of intakes. Gonna build a 6' x 10' room soon, so I figured why buy 2 filters, when I can just buy this one and use it for the upgrade. It is massive inside the tent though!!:jump:

I have a pair of Can66s, each covering ~33% less space than yours. Had Can50s before. They last for years, work very well, and don't limit the fan. The filters live outside the boxes; the air is pushed through. Each box runs 1-2F above ambient with a 600HPS.

If I could make a small suggestion, it might not be a bad idea to situate the axial fan inside the room a little differently. The space it takes now could be better used by the plants. Good luck. The room and the grow both look good.

overkill doesn't mean anything for filters except that your filter will last longer
rock it!

Maybe I missed something but which fan are you getting? I'm building another room, slightly larger, and thinking about the Can50 and an Elicent fan - I was considering the 6" ellicent, but its only 309cfm and the can50 is 400cfm, so to be safe I am considering the Ellicent 200a with a duct-reducer. Still not sure what to do. But the clock is ticking time to make tracks.

I've got the Valueline 6" fan........I think it's rated at 435 cfm or something like that.

Forgive me; I'm not sure I understand. If the fan is rated for 309CFM and the filter for 400CFM, where is the problem? Shoot me a PM if I can give you a hand.

That's what I learned from doing my homework here. Always have your filter have a higher cfm rating then your fan.:thank you:
