Soil ->>Hydro

Hey guys I'm thinking of buying an 8 or 12 bucket hydro system but I want to harvest every 2 months (have 8 or 12 plants vegged and ready to go in after every harvest)

How do you guys do it? Have another veg room with 12 more buckets? I dont get it how to run an ongoing harvest.

Sorry maybe this should be in the NOOB section..

Because if I clone the mothers wont they be ready to go into flower before the ones in flower are finished, you guys kinda know what im saying?

I have been pondering this same thing but my issue is that my veg room is much smaller and if going from seed you will also need more to account for males. I have been thinking about using 3 gallon buckets for veg and moving the net pots to 5 gallon buckets for flower.

alot of variables come into play when timing plants.

If u could take clones at the time u send those into flower. After the clones root and gain some root system, stall them under lower level light an lower nutes.

then say at day 45 of the flowering room, send the stalled clones into higher level veg light with higher nute feed. your peveg light will change what day to start ramping up. desired final flower size. the plants genetic stretch all come into play.

in your situation it may be better to veg 10 days under intense light. or with less light you may find 25 days is better for you.

You could also start keeping moms, and then take then clones when the flower room is 15-20 days in. Again, depends on lighting environment and genetics.

But if your cloning skills suck. the above situation when getting them to root, then stalling,could give you more time to make up for any mistakes.

alot of variables to consider... experience with your room and the plant will give YOU the correct answer for YOUR situation.

So i'd have to buy 8-12 more full size buckets for the Veg room aswell?

Not if you go 12/12 from clone,then you will not need to veg at all.Harvest what you have and have clones ready to go straight to flower room.:)Somewhat less at harvest,but you do not have to buy anything else.
