Coughing

If you smoke pot, you probably do this somewhat frequently. What are your thoughts? I smoke a gravity bong and while it causes some harsh coughing after hitting it, I feel like I am "smoking" less overall with less repeated exposures.

Am I going to give myself an aneurysm? It's not total like strangulation-death struggle strain, but I take a pretty good rip and cough for a couple minutes, then feel kinda blah for a few minutes after that.

I also feel like the coughing could do well to get rid of whatever crap I just took in.

Maybe I'm paranoid too. I really am looking forward to vaping or eating special treats.

I swear to you that pieces of my lung must have flown out on occasion ;-)


Even vapes can leave the lungs feeling sensitive & bring about the coughs... in the end... we are inhaling 'foreign' substances & it's the natural reaction of the body to become inflamed & inflemmed... think I just made up a word...?

Love your pic man! Tasty Trichs!! I tell ya what, I cough my lungs out somtimes, but they feel pretty good for the 99% of the day that I am not in the act of smoking.

And yes, vapes cause me to cough more sometimes than a bowl or bong, but at least it lacks the tar. Nothing though makes me cough like the gravity bong!! She's a brutal mistress and a jealous lover.

i switched to a vape a while ago no coughing no mucous from the lungs anymore period.

I know this isn't a vape v. bong thread, but my .02cents is that I switched to vape exactly because of this reason and now my girl will not smoke, only vape, that in itself can be a pain, but she switched for serious medical reasons. I haven't coughed in a long time from the vape, but I go pretty easy and regulate temp to avoid smoke.

vape's the way...no doubt. any of you folks have experience with the devil known as 'gravity bong'? it's a cough-dominatrix. i think it's good because i dont spend much time smoking, but it really sucks for a minute after you hit it.
