it's the best of the best of the best. Like the og kush, of readily available seeds. Look for the orange haze pheno.

I would like to hear more about Jack Herer. Why is it so legendary strain? What makes it sooo good?

I have some Blackjacks flowering right now which is Jack Herer x Black Domina. Hope they lean on the jack side. They came from Sweetseeds, so i am not sure how they compare to Nirvana. Jack is like super silver haze. Skunk/northern lights/haze. Black Domina is Northernlights/Hash plant/ortega/maple leaf/kush. I am going to check the trics and try to keep them on the clear/cloudy side to give it more of a high then a stone.

How long does it usually take for the trichomes to amber on the Jack Herer from Sensi?

it takes 12 weeks for jack maybe more . the reason the Jack is so good is it distinct oder once you get a whiff of the spicey'ness you will always remember it. Then there the high no ceiling no anxiety just pure bliss.

I've grown tons of Sensi's Jack and it is a great stable 1st quality herb and most of it stinks like c99(wonder why ).Many individual females have moved through my garden, however I never really found the "one".Most of my smokers prefer any type of diesel or head slamming Afghani. That being said I can also say that the high lasts a very long time.Hey, Chaco doesn't know all he can only go by what his smokers say, it is a wonderfull plant, no doubt with great results from seed, however no one really asks me for it.I wish I had some pics but I don't its a real pretty plant.Peace, Chaco. :joint: Oh yes it does take 10-12 weeks to be done, and the high is like thai sweet and long lasting, but who am I to say?

its real stoney stuff, made thousands of f2s, but every one i grew the vigour of the sativa side was just too much for my grow space, theese babies need no veg time at all, has it changed much in 10 yrs ?

pretty sure theese are jh

one thing i noticed with this strain is it grows alot of thc on the stems and branches

the champion of champions!what i love about jack herer is the high.above all the high from certain jack phenos is so good.u just feel great, laughing your ass off type buzz.i dunno but thats the pot high i prefer most times...the feel good herb.great for daytime use, enjoyed by artist and computer operators, hehe.
another atribute of jack is its low odor, esp if selected.some jack plants have literally no smell unless squeezed.all time all star genetics = one of the best modern hybrids.
put it this way...here in Vancouver BC(pot capital of the world),jack herer commands the highest price at large on the commercail market

lets see a pic of this so called 8 week phenom jh

hi

some Jack Herer (the ones with lots of NL in lineage) bloom off after 8weeks,, onwards (10-20% approx. from a standard packet). This bud is 65 day type bud... see how the calyx are quite compact,, these plants yield quite a low amount for JH and hold lots of indica characteristics.

The NL type JH (is common in Amsterdam coffeeshops,, tastes not much like Jack Herer)... they are ready perhaps 40 days before the last plant from a seed crop is done blooming and ready to harvest. It's one of the reasons the plant is best worked from seed to specific clone,, that and the expensive price tag ...

the 77-90 day type Jack Herer (40-50%) is the best type to work with from clone,, on large gardens with lots of light,, and big yields IMO. She also grows well from clone outdoor, if given a pre-flowering head-start.

Here's more reasons why Jack Herer [Sensi Seeds] is such a nice plant to work with... (Jock Horror was an inferior plant when compared side by side!!)

Each 77day type clone at 14 days veg reaps nuff branches of these flowers:

These plants require steak supports and out-grow any other 10-11 week plant on flower quality :D

The later 90-110 day type Jack Herer plants (10%) were always placed at the very end of the garden,, on the first run,,, until eliminating them as clones,, only because those haze types take such a long time to flower,, make BIG bushes with lots of small flowers.. take lots of trimming time... and are really connoisseur type cannabis plants :canabis:

The smell is also nice to work with,, lots of plants smells like hash,, not dirty smelly skunk weed (after loosing the NL types that is). The kif from later type Jack Herer's was always top-draw,, my mate thinks the scartjes should be illegal.. lol :biglaugh:

Trippy-hippie let's ...paint the whole world psychedelic orange type stuff,, beware of imitations.. the smell ranges from sweet and musky through to spicy-metallic on a nice plant. :joint:

Keep an eye out for rogue plants /keepers,, they're the ones that shine back at ya

It does exactly what it says on the tin! Big -up dem Dronkers :canabis:

Is Jock Horror related to Jack Herer? (Sorry for my bad english...) Are they near to each other; to they have similar high or something? I have always wondered that because Jock Horror is at this moment one of my favorite strains but I haven't ever smoked Jack...

Hi

Jock Horrior was an attempt to recreate the jack herer, the same cross was done, but it seems there are far from related.

Jack Herer is a great strain, which isn't that stable, IMO, but all phenos are great, especially as Docleaf said, the long flowering phenos.
the jack i've smoked in a'dam where more on the NL side, and were good smoke but no so special. I came along with 2 samples of JH which where really nice, an outstanding high, almost electric... If you've got that one you'll keep it for a while !

i havent tasted jack herer so i cant say bot Jock horror isnt worth it
they run 11 weeks and yield well ( i had one with buds the size of a 2 liter coke bottle)
but the potency just isnt there
