Sensi's Silver Haze?

Does anyone have any flowering pics of Sensi's Silver Haze? I used to have it back in the day and was wondering if their newer stock was similar, newer meaning after 2000, or if you got any pics of Sensi's Silver Haze I'd love to see em'.

I'm not talking about GHS or Shanti's super silver haze I'm talking about Sensi's version of NL/Haze and not their NL#5/Haze but their "Silver Haze" which is still called "Silver Haze". I tried a search and 177 pages came up with mostly super silver haze.

Sensi's haze hybrids are Silver Haze, NLxHaze, and Jack Herer.

Jack Herer is the closest thing to SuperSilverHaze in terms of pedigree.

SuperSilverHaze is a Mr. Nice or Greenhouse strain depending on who you believe.

Just to clairfy Sensi's Silver Haze = NL?/Haze this is what I'm looking for info or pictures on after 2000. I'm not looking for stuff on SuperSilver Haze or equivelant. Thanks

i'd like to see a Silver Haze grow, or two, as well. My friend gave me about 50 Silver Haze F2s that he made in the 90s-apparently it was legendary weed etc he raved about it but only 5 germed-3 survived and they were mutants which grew with strange shaped leaves and went badly hermi in veg so i didn't get to sample the bud.
I've not come across anybody else who's grown it either

here's hoping
cheers

I would spend the money and buy the real deal.

Northern Lights was definitely added to the Silver Haze to bring down height and flowering time as well as adding weight. Not sure if the original female was Haze or NL X Haze. I plan on picking up a pack or two of these soon.

It´s either Silver Pearl x Haze or Early Pearl/SK1 x NL5/Haze..not sure
I grew some in the late 90´s and some of the girls were better than some JH phenos, and much cheaper :D

I agree Raco, silver Pearl x haze ( or NL#5 haze or sk/haze)

some are better than anything else, one of the best haze hybrid ( end of 1990 version ) i have smoke and grow. what pils ? the red or the blue ? that's what this weed seems to ask to you at the top of the high !

no pics this years...

and I have another secret...silver pearl was truly more halluninogenic than silver haze at this time !

but sensi seeds has changed ...dronker cartel...easy money...too much backshichs ...this is the end....

Not sure what the original late 80's early 90's Silver Haze was like but this quote was taken from the description on their web site.....

"The original Haze has had both its outrageous height gain and interminable flowering period brought under control by breeding with an extra-potent, non-dominant individual from the Northern Lights line. The dark Afghanica also throws its weight behind the feathery Sativa budding pattern, adding bulk without affecting flower formation."

and

"Afghani influence is seen in the strain’s thick layers of silver resin glands and the way her calyxes swell, adding density in the final weeks of flowering."

Contrary to what a lot of people seem to think....I believe there are still gems to be found within Sensi's lines and I'd bet Silver Haze is one of them. Now, you might have to grow out a few packs to find something truly special (and at their prices most wouldn't bother) but IMO it's worth it.

Silver Haze, Cal Indica and Maple Leaf Indica are three that I'm really looking forward to growing this year. I grew the Cal and Maple about 12 years ago and with exception of a few breeders (Tom Hill, MNS, Ace), I would rather grow (pay for) those two again then any of the stuff that's out there right now. Don't get me wrong, I'd grow out seeds that were gifted or traded for but when it comes to spending money....the list is rather short.

I grew Silver Blue (Homegrown Fantaseeds?) years ago that was gifted to me and I found it to be an excellent strain. I think it was Silver Haze x Blueberry...or Silver Pearl. Anyway, it was quick, heavy, great tasting and a nice mix of head and body....and it cloned faster then any strain I've ever grown. A very nice all around plant.

Take Care,

Silver Haze is ok- the growth pattern is pretty much exactly as Sensi describes it. I only got 1 out of a pack of 16 to germinate so I cant say how much variation there is in potency/ taste- but this did not come close to the best Jack H 'incense' flavour terms of taste or potency.

its very light- like weed from the tropics- but lacking a real edge/ sharpness- more fruity and not what I was hoping for or expecting.

I would go for it crossed with NL instead if you're considering buying.

A couple more.

here she is compared to Oldtimers haze.

The pheno I got ends up looking just like the Sensi catalogue too. It is real pretty.

2008 but they were the older pack- the 10 packs had been released by then.

I bought a pack of Hashplant too and none of them germinated.

Sensi do stand over what they sell so I got a pack of Jack Herer in compensation- all of which germed.

I ran 2 seeds of silver haze a while back.

Actually, the 1st pic Grandad shows looks like both phenos. One looked like his OT haze pic and was the better pheno - Nice soaring happy up high with the giggles, made me want to run and hug everyone.

The 2nd pheno was much much more NL5 leaning and wasn't up to much at all, quite dull and confusing.

The hazey pheno though was outstanding and had a sllght minty pine taste to it.

Hope this helps.

e2a - very low yielders but pure quality
