This winter has been the coldest for a long time, 30+ years. Snowdrops have only been out for a week or so, Croci are just starting to come out...and the pond is still frozen....normally the frogs and toads are already mating by now.

Hurry up spring....I could do with a bit of warmth, as could my plants!

Ed's Wife Here:

I was born in a snowstorm at the end of March ''66. today we have snow ice, and for the rest of the day kinda slush weather. But I love it here, we have fresh (cold) mountain air in winter, super hot summers in my 4 year experience of being a U.S.A. resident

I'm a Brit from around Winchester way who's been in Asia for a while but is about to move back to Blighty because I miss a few things (rain, cold, general complaining etc).

How easy was it to move to Oregon? Any regrets at all?

I'd love to try living in the states one day but it looks pretty damn tough these days.

You guys must be growing some great plants outdoor there, I bet you don't miss the mould prone autumn over here.
