How long will a 20lb co2 tank last set at 1500 ppm every day in a 20x20 room with about 130 plants running 24 hrs during veg and same question during 12 hrs during flower

in a 20x20 with 130 plants? how big are the plants?

Well lets just assume the 20x20 is full and plants healthy with a fast and active metabolism. I estimate your 20 pound tank lasting a week or less during flowering.

For veg I can not speculate, never run it for veg.

um............... is ur room sealed????? vented???? ventilated/fanS???

THERE R TONS OF VARIABLES TO CONSIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U GONNA HAVE TO FIGURE THIS ONE FOR UR SELF W/ ACTUAL OBSERVATIONS IN UR SPACE.

you should consider a CO2 controller and a propane/NG burner to keep xpenses in ncheck!
the " tank " plan u r proposin is kinda pain inthe ass (have to refill it to often) and xpensive
(more cost for CO2 in pure form (tanks) vs producin it from a burner for lots less money)

and u should be an experienced show operaator to start thinkin about CO2 and be successful. no offense, but you have shown ur ignorance to us with your comments

CO2 is killer stuff to supercharge your show , but u need to master the basics before you start messin with advanced methods.
u must have a workable plan that has givin consideration to many factors of which CO2 can be a component

good luck to you, you have come to right place but i would strongly suggest u buy a grow book written by: J. Cervantes or E. Rosenthal or G. Green . there are more authors but any one of those three have the detailed book(s) you need to be successful at ths "hobby" invest in one ormore of their books

well let me tell you no offence taken but I have several grows under my belt but never have used co2 before this will be my first time using it and the room is sealed

Thanks for posting

okay well then
1) what kind of controller ( or is this gonna be on a timer)?
2) what flow setting will you be using?
3) Is there any air exchange or a sealed ac unit?
4) how long are you gonna veg?
5) how large are you growing them?
6) what temps are you running?
7) how much lighting?
8) What Rh are you running
9) what nutrients? at what ppm?

what were all trying to tell you is there are way too many variables to give you an exact number.
I can tell you your room is 8000 cubic feet and will require 9.6 cubic feet of CO2 to get you up to 1500 ppm.

ok I can tell you exactly my man. if everything is health I mean if the girls are even 10 inches. you'll get a week or less.
if traffic is an issue use a 50lbs tank
and if you had a burner it would cost about 1/4 the cost, your burner would pay for it self in a month or two.
