I have 2 rubbermaid tubs turned on each other. The insides are lined with mylar with a few tiny leaks. I have 2 120mm fans one intake and one exhaust. I have two 26 watt cfl's. I have 4 seedlings in about 1 cup clay pots. I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest Soil and will be using big bloom on down the road. I am going to start them at a 12/12 light cycles to keep them as short as possible. I'm still looking for a nice Scrog screen. Well wish me luck. Been reading the site for 2 years now and finally excite to try. :jump:

Hey good luck with this grow man!

My guess is that two 120mm FAN is way to much for the room you have to grow in...

only one 120mm FAN at the exhaust would be enough! Just leave the Intake alone without anything and seal the exhaust fan properly and this should create a very good airflow that would act like a vacumm in your cab since it's not that big! No air would leak out the intake because of this vacuum effect!

Yeah I took the intake fan out and just set it in the cab for when they babies get a little bigger I'll have something moving them around.

Nicceee! Mann, I just got my first grow started last night too! I used two 26 gallon Rubbermaid containers just like this. Right now I have 3 CFLs in that bitch. Good luck man! I'll post my progress and we can compare. Lol. Good luck!

Looks so legit, man. Ohhh man. I can see your weather stripping peeling up. Lol, mine does the exact same thing. Drives me freakin' insane. Pretty sure you and I both have the same tubs, except mine are green. Also, how do you like the adapters for the light bulbs? Two of mine slipped out and the bulbs busted on the floor of the bottom tub. I love when that happens. hahaha. I had to tape the other 3 in, just so they wouldn't fall out either. Gah. Your mylar looks so much smoother than mine as well. It was a real bitch laying it flat with no wrinkles. What did you use to stick it to the tub?

Thanks for all the props guys. Yeah that weather stripping is pissing me off with how sticky it is. I'll figure something out. Thanks for the warning on the lights have to tape those down soon. Also the mylar I was using was super sticky and just stuck to the side of the tubs, not sure what brand it was. I got it in the insulation section of home depot.

I have heard that broken CFLs are extremely dangerous due to them being full of mercury. They advise leaving a room vacant for days and/or getting hazmat involved when these SOB bulbs break. I love cfl and have never broken one though(cross ringers). Just my 2 cents.

Dannnggg. I wish I would have got mine there. I just ordered a HUGE roll of it on the internet for about 15 bucks. 4 feet by 25 feet. Lol. I used a spray adhesive to stick mine down. I'll have to head over to Home Depot to see if I can find some of that stuff.

Yeah, Westcoast, It's not going to be enough hazardous material comin' out of those two little bulbs to really mess anything up, unless I was to put it in a bag and huff it or something. One of the bulbs didn't even entirely break, just cracked, so I threw it away in tact. I've broken the about 2 of the 5 foot fluorescent bulbs with on accident at my parents house, and that was when we decided to let the room air out for a bit. No worries, but thanks for lookin' out!

Well its day 10 and gave them a watering with some of the big bloom in it.
There looking good and got another light in there to amp up the lights a little. I'm using 2700k soft white CFL's covered by a round cover so if the plants touch them they wont get burnt.

Try contact cement to secure the weatherstrip.

I glued mine down with Gorilla Glue...contact cement would be just as good.

Looks good Justaguy! I'm not sure how mine are doing. I had to go out of town to for a while so my friend took my box and is sprouting some seeds in that bitch. He's bringing it back full of some clones he had. Woop! Those little babies look good man!!! Can't wait to see what they look like in a couple weeks!

As for the weatherstripping, conveniently, I had some Gorilla Glue sitting next to me as I read gr8fulbud's suggestion. Score.
