clonex with aerocloner

Hello, first I want to say sorry because of my bad english. Now my question: I've got a aerocloner like the ez-cloner. I want to use clonex. But I think the water out of the sprinklers wash it of the plant? What do you think about this? Anyone here who uses clonex with a aerocloner too? Thanks for good answers.

You don't need a rooting compound to use an aero cloner. Straight tap water works just fine...

Per the EZ-Cloner instructions:

13. For best results use a rooting hormone – we
recommend Clonex. Apply directly to the
cutting before inserting in the system. Then
place cuttings in the centre of the circular foam
pieces or neoprene. Make sure at least 2.5 to 4
cm of the cutting is suspended beneath the lid.
All leaves should remain on the top of the lid.

Not to say it doesn't work without it but if you have it, it appears that it is recommended.

I get stronger roots faster using clonex. I opted not to use it on this batch of clones and the difference is staggering. Use it, but check your ph the next day because it will rise a little bit that first day.

^^^^ive used my ez with plain old clonex gel... you want to dip them before you stick them even thoguh the gel get washed off....
the gel seals the wound
also when it mixes with the water itll be enough food & root stim while to get the cuts to root.

you have no worries.

i would suggest pouring out a lil bit ofrom the bottle rather than dip directly into the bottle to keep form infections passing
