I would edit this, since I'm an English major, but I got 30 pages of BS to write too hehehe (I'm just saying English majors basically learn how to BS, sorry if it sounded offensive the first time)

I would probably not include "....if you pay for something, you expect the best correct?" The "correct?" part is not needed.

"the truth dissolves the question"-bruce lee. im not goin to try to get you a bad grade but,its your outlook that counts and i really think if she/he gives you a bad grade for your outlook your not really learning . they expected you to follow a pattern that isnt "true" for you.

If it takes you 30 hours to complete your homework for the day I would find a new major. What makes you think everyone in College wants to get As and succeed? I know some fair to middling Professional Students ... whose parents don't pay for their forever continuing education ... The Tax Payers Do. They don't want to succeed ... they want the money associated with knowing how to work this System. They do just enough to continue getting the assistance. Getting an Unearned A is just a bonus.

"alls we are is dust in the wind."
essay complete. A+

but seriously this essay seems very short to me.. i'm hardly a high school graduate but i've been required to right longer papers in many grades below. maybe this is just where you're starting? more to come? but in my experience you need a thesis and SEVERAL supporting facts/opinions and a well written closing statement..

im not trying to be harsh in any matter, as i've never attended higher education. (GED over here) what i will say is this; maybe you should cover more of the basis of the topic. for example - i myself am thinking of taking courses to further my education but DO NOT have parents to pay for schools - therefore i do not have these pressures of succeeding and earning above average grades from outside forces - other than the fact i WANT to get what i pay for.

people have different situations in life and education CAN be the answer for some.
im very much wanting to start classes to further my education and get a job in a field that i will enjoy - as opposed to flipping burgers or fixing your roof. '
i'm now a convicted felon - can getting a degree help me? who's willing to hire joeshmoe the guy with a felony background to take x-rays, fix your mortgage, or help manage a business?

ARE these grades backed up with a promise of making a good living?? these and some other questions come to mind when i think of paying for a piece of paper saying i did my time.. especially after i DO my time. (prison/jail)

just a few random thoughts and maybe some perspective bruv
i wish ya well

hope i didnt ramble on too much :D

Since it's on the internet now, would it come back as a hit if the teacher used "turnitin" or whatever the program is that checks for plagiarism?

Since it's on the internet now, would it come back as a hit if the teacher used "turnitin" or whatever the program is that checks for plagiarism?

I just did a google search for "But how is this enough time when we are assigned thirty hours of homework a day?", and it returns this thread as the number one result

id like to bring up a point of common sense.

first off, lets assume that your teacher does do a search on google for this paper and this thread does pop up showing your paper in all its glory. now you have to admit to plagerism wich carries the risk of expulsion depending your schools policy or any other infractions. or your can prove that the paper is infact yours and that you did infact post it which would be eternially stupid because it exposes that your are a grower, because after all this webside is dedicated to growing.
now both of these scenarios carry a very low probability of acctually occuring mainly because its just not worth the effort unless you managed to irk the teacher in which case all bets are off. so next time, stop smoking hard to do i know, think things through, and dont procrastinate

Come on. Writing is easy. You do it all the time. the problem is you haven't "done your homework". Do some online research and find out what others have to say about college pressure.

When is it due? You can write 100 words now and a nother 100 later and in a few days, it'll be all over.

I would start with the pressure to party. I heard a lot of stories about how people majored in drinking. Follow that up with how it gets in the way of your studies.

Uneducated here, but damn, I know things that they don't teach in school, and some things they won't allow to be taught in school.

how about the pressure you're under to get this essay written, how you had to ask strangers on a forum for inspiration and how you feel your performance on this could lead to a whole myriad of unforeseen circumstance, dilemma and potential unemployment ;)

hehe :)

You might want to delete this thread. If your professor is at all serious they will use something like turnitin and you could be fucked.

wow, could you imagine grading all those papers and being bored out of your mind with sob stories of how hard college is....I feel bad for the TA's who have to read that shit. Write something original, how about the pressures the STAFF should feel to meet the educational expectations of the few students who are not satisfied or blinded by the busy work which is thrown at them by >75% of the curriculum.....perfect example being an essay about the pressures of college.

Dude all of my English teachers in high school (and now college) have required essays to be submitted to turnitin.com to get any credit. This is the kindo of shit that turnitin will find and you'll get busted for plagiarism. Delete this thread man.

oh man, i wish i had time to edit this for you. i love doing this kinda stuff, i effing write research papers in my sleep! when is it due??!
