Thanks. I crossed a nice Congo male into an old mold resistant pure Afghan mom.
Man it smells wonderful. Like spiced curry, very strong and unique.
Heres is another picture on my Jamaican. It really is thriving in this hot humid weather.

Unfortunitly this year the mold was more than any Afghan could handle. It seems the spores were everywhere. This particular afghan seems to handle mould a little better than most.
A freind grew out a pack of Sensi Seeds Afghan 1 and didnt find anything worth keeping in the pack. He also grew out Nirvanas Afghan and found several nice keepers that are similar to my Lemon Hashy Afghan I picked up in the Dam years back.
I am giving up on all of my Indica Dom strains next summer and will only grow them during the winter-Spring season.

I guess my Jamaican is not a pure sativa but man it sure is mold and wet resistant.
Thanks all

Some people talk about a possible influence in Jamaican of India, Africa and/or Columbia. Hard to tell. Dont know if the term purity can be used in big sense there those years but you know as far as they contain some good old genetics, you can always work them bit further for stability of their best traits. Jamaicans seemed better suited to those conditions indeed.

Hello Four Seasons, nice garden, I have come late, but is a delight for the eyes to behold such beautiful pictures, I already know a site to visit on the net, where you can cheer the eye, thanks for sharing with us all these beautiful things. I hope someday to grow like jewels.

Hello 4 seasons,

The afghan congo looks and sounds nice! Lovely sativa/indica structure, i like a lot how she is flowering, hard to find good mold resistance in straight afghani hybrids. It's rare to find 'pure' jamaican sativas today but if she works for you in your climate and you like her traits, then go on!

Thanks Dubi and everyone
I am positive my Jamaican is not a pure Jamaican. After looking at all of the threads of Jam Sativas like Charlies true Blue Mountain I am pretty sure now

During our stay in Nigrel several hybrids were available like Jamaican Skunk. Also Several good local Sativas were available along with a variety the locals called Alaskan John.
Supposedly a slight Auto Flower Indica with roots in Alaska was hybrid with a Sativa making a squat Indica dom plant that produces a short harvest three times a year. Of coarse I am not sure if these reports are true. Just reporting what we had been told.

I went deep into the Swamps today to check on a few plants at one of my islands I havnt been able to reach. Its been very wet and the water is still standing in many places.
Thankfully My Mr. Nice Super Silver Haze is still alive. I planted it in a ten gallon container elevated off the ground.

I had tagged and pollinated four lower limbs with four differnt Varieties. The seeds are about ready but the plant needs another 10 days or so.
I have One more Island to check on once the water table drops to normal.

I dusted the SSH with Gauwi,Congo,Orient Express and Rez, Chem double D pollen. On this one I used a very minute amount of pollen from each, just enough to get a few seeds.

correction....The above is Mr. Nice Super Silver Haze F2 and was started in September and planted in a five gallon container.

The summer season is finally at a close for my wife and my self.
Here is the last of what we harvested last week.
On top of what was already lost we lost all of my Indica Dom. Plants including Sandstorm,Passion 1 and several others recently.

I am sorry for posting plants other then Ace or Cannabiogen on this forum.

Next season I will be working with mostly Ace and Cannabiogen stock.
Good genetics and good vibes mixed with good karma.

Shiskaberry 2001 SOL seeds

Jamaican the morning of harvest.
It has a nice earthy, berry, floral hash oil smell which will change slightly as it cures.

When I first visited the ICMAG forums I didnt know much about ACE or Cannabiogen.
I was instantly blown away and amazed at the original landrace stock and exotic hybrids in their menues.
Being a Cannaphile ,old seed collector and lover of landrace I was instantly hooked on this forum. As I started to read I learned so much more then I thought I knew about these genetics.
Most important of all ,the people sharing this information are honest good people with a real passion for the plant.

As I searched through other forums I realized I did not see the hot headed egos and foolish non-sense on the Ace forum I frequently see on some of the other forums.

For me Its not just about getting high and enjoying the medical and astetic attributes of the cannabis plant.
It seems for me to be about enjoying the human relationship with the plant and how it effects our relationship with each other.
Thanks All
Peace
