how often do i use co2????

Im setting up a co2 tank in my room. I was just wondering how quickly the plants use up the co2. I dont have a co2 meter so i cant test. Im just trying to figure out how often i should gas my plants.

what size tank? do you have a regulator for it?

im using 25lb tanks hooked up to the regulator flow valve & solenoid unit. I already figured how to get the room up to 1500 ppm... I just need to know how often I should gas them/ how fast they use up the co2

12 hours during lights on in flowering, plants don't require c02 during dark hours.

yea i know that but my co2 level gets up to 1500 in 15 minutes. So how fast do the plants use up that co2?

wasabi. i'd run it at 1500, 2 hours per day. all through veg and first two weeks of flowering.

an remember.. exhaust off. if you cant, then keep in mind that co2 is heavy, meaning it falls rather than rises naturally. good luck.

Best to use it all the way, but cut it to 750 ppm in the last two weeks. YOu'll need a meter for this, or just get a Sentinel CHHC-1 for the same money and use it as your whole grow controller.

i run a 8x8 space using the fuzzy logic from CAP and i go through a 20 lb tank every 6 days keeping it at 1500

you need a meter that tells you what the ppm is in your room and will shot it off ones it gets to 1500.

its a crapshoot without buying a controller, the cost off the controller will be recouped in a grow or 2, co2 is really only beneficial once everythting else is dialed in so IMO you would just be wasting it by blasting it on every now and then

If you want the most amount of c02 you will need to consider your average temperature too.
