6 Females out of 22 seeds. What a waste of 5 weeks.

6 females sounds like a good deal. 6 Females could be 6 mothers of 100's of cuts!

Should I do that or germ 30 more seeds today?
A game of patience we play.Save your seeds and take cuts.No point in possibly puttin yourself in the same situation again.

6 fems out of 22 beans means you will most likely have a solid fem, with no herm trait.
I go to clubs and buy ONE clone,....veg it for 3 weeks, and start taking cuts,.....
if it was me, I'd slice the girls up, stick em in coco to root, and go full tilt once they rooted,,...you'd only need 3 or 4 cuts per plant to get the numbers back up to 22+ females
but I wouldn't bother with flowering them out now with only 6, THAT would make me cry too!

they should already be ~60cm tall+wide... small for trees, but w/ a week or 3 more veg, theyll be ~1 cubic meter of canopy/plant mass - excluding stem/stalk.
w/ 6 plants, that is one 6oow per 3 plants...
bare bulb, hanging in middle, that make ideal for 6 plants.
maybe veg for 2 more weeks... even if already started flower. just turn back timer to 20/4... to get the grrlz bigger...
take 1-2 cuts from ea plant.
@ end of cycle, eliminate 5 of the 6 plants - including clones.
only keep best cut from the litter...
now, have 4% of total initial population remainding - or 'elite clone'... as they claim on icmag...
it is member HighTillDeath's elite clone though...
pretty standard to seek only 1-5% of total starting population, for final mum/dad... that is
of artificial selection!generally, if run seeds, seek only 1 out of 10-20 to be 'keeper'... all remainder destroyed. only want best in genepool.

Just curious, did you top the plants before they were sexed?
The reason I ask is because my last two grows I topped some of the plants and LST'd some. Both times I had an alarming amount of males like 75%-80% among the topped plants and almost no males among the LST'd plants.
Probably just coincidence but it's got me wondering.

Not the reason you got males. The genetics of the plant are determined well before pre-flowers show. It is encoded in the genes inside of the seed itself. When the pollen meets the flower and the seed starts to grow. It has already been encoded with a set of instructions to use once germination takes place.
@HighTillDeath best of luck to you. I personally would turn a couple of those female plants into mothers. If they are not that far along into flowering you can always revert them back to veg by putting them back under 18/6 for a week or so.

I have heard that too, tokinafaty420, just not sure I buy it. I think environment has something to do with the sex of the plant. If it doesn't then why will poor conditions cause hermis?

Assuming that you sexed by cloning and moving the baby to flower for a few weeks, I would grow the 6 girls in Veg and take clones right before moving them into flower. Be sure to mark the clones so that you know which plant they came from. Then once you figure out which is the strongest and the best performing plant, take it's "babies" and make yourself a couple of good strong moms to clone from.

yeah but there are other determining factors that affect sex besides genetics, dont feel bad, i got 4 out of 25 last time, and have batted 0 for 10 before, this time i got 18 of 30 so ya never know, top those 6 ladies and throw them under the 600 for a week or two, then clone all the lower branches for your next run and throw the six moms into 12 12, you got 6 females, look at the positive, if it was easy everybody would be doing it, oh wait a minute...
