Help me tweak my room: I bought tents

Hello fellow IC members.

I bought 2 tents "Secret Jardin - Dark Room". I initially wanted to purchase the "Sun Hut" brand, but it's a lost cause here in Europe.

First tent: 240cm X 120cm X 200cm (7.9feet X 3.9feet X 6.5feet)
This one will be the flowering tent with 2 lamps of 600 watts each for now.

Second tent: 120cm X 120cm X 200cm (3.9feet X 3.9feet X 6.5feet)
Will be used for clones and mothers. I have a 400 watts MH, a 125 watts CFL and 2 neons of 55 watts each.



Now the pics. It's impossible to take pics of the whole room so I draw a little something to make it easier to understand:

My main concern is how to install the vent system. I can do it horizontal or vertical. The problem is that it's going to do some heavy curves with both.

Right now I'm doing soil with Great White Shark but I need to get everything right for the next run: I have Grapefruit Fly from Mosca, Critical Mass from MrNice and Sweetest Cindy 99 from Dutchgrown Seeds.
Will grow in coco with "The recipe" from Rez.

Nice tent man. I'd hang the exhaust with path of least resistence. Which ever way has less bends is the I'd go

Those are some nice looking tents you've got there.

I use rubber straps with hooked ends to hang my fan in my tent. I used to just place the fan on the top of the exhaust hole, but it made too much noise outside of the tent. All you have to do is move the horizontal support bars to get it all worked out.

I just use the passive intakes since the tents have multiple holes near the bottom. I put ducting in them and tighten the flaps to make them more light tight.

Have you thought about getting a window fan or window AC? That will help you get your temperature and humidity stabilized.

Shady Smoka: Yeah I know what you mean. The problem is they're both very curvy.

FunkBomb: Thanks. I like your system, and I have the same horizontal bars. You're not losing power with that big curve between the fan and the carbon scrubber?
For the intake, I had the same idea as you, passive using the tent holes.
About the AC, I don't know exactly how much it costs and how much it draw, but it have a bad reputation on these two characteristics.


darksith: This one costs 400€ = $544. If you're in the US, go with the SunHut brand.

holy shit. Why wouldn't you just build your own out of black and white poly and some metal tape for 1/5 of that price?
