i read somewhere adding coca cola could be helpful with all the sugars available and also with caffein which would help promote cell division.
But i saw energy drinks( like Monster) contain extra caffein and Lots of B vitamins.
Would this work?

Don't forget it's fizzy.....co2....wouldn't want them to have that in the roots where they need O2. Just a thought ...good idea though !

i imagine all the junk, colorings, flavorings and chemicals would probably not be great for your plants.

If you want vitamins, buy some superthrive. If you want sugars buy a sweetener or use molasses.

With the cost of so many of the "energy" drinks I can't help but think that it would be more cost effective to use specialized nutrients.

On another note, though I have to say that I have no experience in this matter, I think that this is a bad idea.

Good luck if ya try it. Make sure to let us know how it turns out.

Peace

A lot of these Energy Drinks are just Sweet Caffeine etc Better to rely on good Nutrition for your body or for your Plants. Ruin your teeth for a little bit of go faster.

Thanks for the replies!
Im not sure i wanna try it myself but i know people who strongly believe Coca cola is very important in the first weeks of veg.
Skunkfunk, good point. made extra research...
"Both CO2 and oxygen dissolve in water. When water is saturated with CO2 it cannot absorb oxygen so the roots have no source of the element oxygen, which is needed for their metabolism. This weakens the roots and promotes the growth of anaerobic bacteria, which thrive in oxygen-free environments and attack roots." from cannabis culture mag
ill will continue with my investigation...

in my decade plus of growing experience, ive seen a lot. soda and beer will produce negative effects-excess sugars, acidity, rot, sludge and so on. if you want to experiment with food grade chemical additives, you can order powders of caffiene and others at some science websites

in a science class as a kid we would sprout beans of some sort and test watering them with different substances, I think it was milk, regular water, bottled water and Gatorade. The Gatorade watered sprouts pulled ahead for the duration of the test. Not a huge difference, but it makes you wonder if diluted Gatorade would really do anything for cannabis.

I would say coca cola is definitely off though. roots want oxygen and will get pissed if you take it from them. If you really want to get some sugars in that baby then pump it up here and there with a tsp of molasses to a gallon of water for your waterings. There are lots of crazy myths about growing weed out there, from people who swear by growing with a halogen light, to those who say taking off all your fan leaves grows bigger buds. Definitely research, it will help you wade through all the BS.

I feed my plants with a special brain and nerve tonic. It's full of protiolites and electromagnetic juices, to promote robust health. All though it has been known to cause gigantism, but only in rare cases.

no...no...no. the secret shall be told. You need to use holy water from the popes personal collection at the vatican to get the stellar results.

Its a terrible idea. All soda and energy drink companies add sodium to their products.

Don't experiment, just forget about the idea.
