nice guys very nice, isn't that rc18t fun as hell?? mine has a castle speed control with a hacker brush-less motor that turns 60,000rpm with the Li-Po that's in it,ya crawlers are by far the funnest rc iv had so far i think my next one will be a SC8 short corse converted to brushless and huge lipo to go ffffaaaaasssssst!!!

After 20 years brake with RCs I bought Losi Micro Desert truck for my son and it started from there. Then I got Traxxas Stampede VXL last summer for myself and my son is getting Traxxas Rustler for his birthday soon. So we can race next summer! :D
I got also one cheapo micro heli. Maybe get bigger "real" heli at some point...

Gotta love new battery tecnology. Electric cars with brushless motors and LIPO batterys are FAST!!!!!

BTW you can get dirty cheap LIPOs and chargers straight from china:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_index.asp

They have very good service. Warrants work probably better than in your local RC shop!

I fly rc planes

rig cameras on them

have a blast and works very well with meds keeping my nerves in check zooming around a foot or so off the ground going over 100mph.

all I can say though is, it is expensive when you hit up on the stick instead of down lol.

I played with rc cars and trucks a few years ago and once I went to flying I never went back.

I have a few gas stadium trucks, a plane and 3 helos. I think I may go electric soon and try my hand at rock crawlers. I can do it fullsize, so why not.

Planes

Ive had a couple elec. planes now. started with a cheapo and am working my way up. I have one that I built but not flone . I havnt had the nerve to see it wrecked so I am waiting till I feel confident with it before I fly it. Its been fun and expensive getting as far as I have. hehe I wish i had some of my crashes on tape though!

Here is my whip. New Losi 8T 2.0 -- I'm going back to the new body after this one gets beat to the ground. Its really starting to rub off on me.

I have plenty of video and images BUT they are posted on other forums and don't really want to cross reference myself.

I had a bad ass ducted electric jet that was pushing over 1k watts. I had a power failure at first speed and it nosed right into the ground faster than I have ever seen it go. The largest thud I have ever heard happened right after that.

It was the most money I have lost within 10 minutes to date and I was actually sick to my stomach when it hit the floor.

ya after racing for a number of years havin nitro and electric I'll never go back to nitro,id love to get a E-Revo someday with a mamba monster max brushless and one of those 13,000mh lipos from max amps and get that fucker goin 80+ over a 2 story house like that one dude did with a 1/8 scale buggy!

I'm all about nitro buggies and truggies. I love my nova rossi and RB concepts nitro motors. I have a Hyper 8 truggy and buggy. The buggy is as light as regulation allows (7.1 lbs) for those association regulated races (I forget the abbreviations I have played with any of my stuff in about two years). Almost all of my super light buggy is carbon fiber though. I could probably make it lighter but then I wouldn't qualify for certain races.

Up by me in PA there's a once a year event called motorama. Big RC car stadium race with spectators and what not, that a bunch of us used to attend every year. There are several arenas and stadiums in this complex and there's other stuff at this same titled event like arenacross and car shows. Its pretty sweet.

I also have some older crappier RC cars...an old rc10gt 1/10 scale from back in the day, an old mirage vspec from back in the day too thats like in mint condition but is sort of an antique comparatively.

Also some electric helo's, the flight simulator for my computer, two small planes, and my dad has three giant planes that he custom built himself.

I got all excited when I saw this thread.

its funny, ive been into R/c off and on for about 20 years. I remember having the grasshopper, while my friend had the subaru brat(sp?), since then ive gotten older and have since went through many rc/10, traxxas ruster. I have refound my enjoyment now that i have kids and have bought in the last few years a few more. Losi LST2, T-mAxx, a mini lst2 electric for my small son, a electric traxxas racing truck, and last year I made the dive and bought the HPI 5 Baja, its huge, 1/5 scale and heavy and goes about 40MPH. It is by far the best R/c ive ever owned, its durable as hell and fun as hell to drive. Recently i tried R/c Heli's and bought a Pro v2 3d heli, well after crashing it in my living room i decided it was to tough and expensive to learn and sold it. Anyway, may R/C live on forever as i dont know about you guys, but hobby shops are very hard to find now adays!

I just finished building an Edge 540 replica with brushless motor and lipo battery, but to scared to fly it, i just keep having flashbacks to my first flight with the foamy.... That plane didn't last long
Have now logged plenty of flying hours with a cheap park flyer and G4 flight sim but still not confident to fly the Edge540
