Are these waterfarms?

Hey people.

Im planning my next grow. I will be having my first attempt at hydro and I want to do a SCROG under 2X250's maybe leading onto 2X400's in budding if needs be. Anyway I wanted to go with 4 plants as I was busted last september and plants count is somewhat of a major for me. I've always run in soil prior to this so I feel it's time to have a crack at hydro as I hear so many great things about it. I've got 4 Hindu Kush clones waiting to go in. My run at the moment still needs 2-3 weeks so Im vegging the clones at the moment.

Anyway I was looking at this setup

Now I know "waterfarm" is a brand name however are these basically the non brand name New Zealand equivalent? Also I know it's somewhat of an open ended question but does this system seem to be a well thought out design? Any other comments on this setup?

Im aiming to run the two lights over an 1800X500mm scrog. Its a bizzarre shape I know but it's my bedroom wardrobe.

that is more like a waterfarm if u ask me.. its for BIG plants!!

From the description on the site, that seems to be more of a Ebb and Grow type system. I have no personal experience with that system, but there are a couple guys on here that swear by them(that style, not the system that you mentioned specifically), possibly because they are relatively simple to set up and run. Now if you are a DIYer, look into something along the lines of the under current(top of the line rdwc), as building a smaller setup like that would be relativally cheap, and they are pretty good for growing huge plants.
