To those complaining about the lack of checking: Did you watch this game? It's not like there's no contact. These women play rough!
The girls hockey actually wasnt too bad. The Canadian girls destroyed everybody though. I probably would never watch it if it wasnt the Olympics though. I didnt get to see the last game though and this is the first I heard about them partying, lol. Good for them. Quite an accomplishment getting a gold at the Olympics, not something you can do everyday. The IOC will probably fry them for it but fuck it, its worth it if they dont take their medals, that would be messed up.

Betcha they could outplay you.....If you're watching hockey simply for those things, you're missing out on skill, speed sweet goals....Don't like it? Don't watch it....Those girls praticed damn hard for a damn long time and you might want to look up the rules of olympic hockey....you aren't suppsed to fight....so, I guess there's no point in you watching it at all.

I say party on Ladies, they dominated the game and the entire Olympic hockey tournament for that matter. They earned the Gold, and deserve to celebrate however they see fit. Congratulations!

I'm sure the women would have no problem with body checking, but I think the IOC does and that's the reason why there is none.

Not only did they stomp the shit out of the other teams, but they kept it interesting and exciting the whole friggin time. The men's gold winning game is a good example. 24 seconds away from the gold then it's off to OT, I almost shit my pants and the tv remote ended up somewhere behind the drywall beside the tv.....lol
