I just did compared some smoke from a target pollinated bud, with that of one of it's sins buds...and there was no difference in buzz. I have always sworn I can taste the lil membranes that hold the seeds. (shrug)

One thing...five hits into any good weed, and it really doesn't matter seeds or no. lol...

Huh, weird. Well there are still new nodes emerging somewhat, I have faith it may keep producing. It is only a week into flower.

Sinsemilla = seedless buds. You pollinated the whole plant, so that's not going to happen. It will keep producing, just at nowhere near the rate it would if it weren't seeded.

The rest of the branches continue on as sinsemilla, but not with the same vigor as before. It takes a couple weeks to notice the slow down. But, as the plant channels energy to producing seeds, the rest of the buds slow down a bit. I'm talking about seeding an entire branch and producing 300-350 seeds. Not just a light dusting. I always choose the best, most vigorous specimen. But, over the next 5 weeks, other plants catch up to and surpass that plant in vigor. In plain English, I seed the best plant, but at picking time it's no longer the best plant. Still a good plant, but not what it would have been without pollination. It's well worth the small sacrifice.
I can vouch for the quote above from KnuckleHedd - I recently put pollen onto an Appalachia female - on about one-third of the available buds, as I needed quite a few. Once fertilized, it was apparent within a week that the rest of the plant had received some kind of 'slow-down' command - I've yielded about a third less than I normally would, at least, and the non-fertilized buds haven't developed to anything like the size they normally would. Quite a few dud seeds too, even after 35 days...:(

The potency seems identical, and even the seeded buds are as strong, but I've definitely lost some yield. I guess there's a 'magic' number of seeds for each strain that it can produce without too much effort, but this is clear evidence that making seeds needs a lot of food...;)

Were there even any buds to pollinate? I suspect you did it too early and possibly won't be getting many seeds.

no fan on !!. after 24 hrs or 2 hrs before lights on next day i remove plant and spray on mist plain PH'd water onto the plant. this removes any excess pollen and only the desired ereas should produce seed.

Probably one of the best pollination tips. FAN OFF!!!! Also be sure to remove the brush if you are using one from your grow area. I put mine straight into an alcohol/water mixture.

Also, don't use more pollen than needed.
