Police have renewed hope of finding former Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig alive following a series of reported sightings of the missing actor.

The 42 year old was last seen in Vancouver on February 14. He missed a flight out of the city to return to his home in Los Angeles on February 16 and his friend, burlesque artist Jenny Magenta, reported him as a missing person last week after failing to contact him.

A police spokesperson tells TMZ.com they are still looking "for a living person," following a number of reported sightings of the star around Vancouver Island.

Vancouver Police Constable Tim Fanning tells ET Online that Koenig's ATM card and cell phone have been used since the day the actor is said to have disappeared, renewing hope he can still be found.

Koenig, who is the son of former Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, is feared to have been "very depressed" at the time of his disappearance

I'd be depressed too if I looked that much like Weird Al...

They could be brothers...
