Hello all, and welcome to my
FIRST GROW.
FIRST GROW.
I am a California medical patient and this grow consists of a seed from a wonderful batch of blackberry from my favorite socal dispensary. I have been in veg in a red beer cup for about 25 days now, and today I constructed my inconspicuous(er?) closet cabinet and transplanted into the final resting place. I'll try and keep this thread as organized and tidy as all of you amazing IC microgrowers always are, beginning with getting right to the point!
Strain: Blackberry (solitary seed found in amazing batch of Blackberry from my local dispensary)
Lights:105W CFL 2700K and several 18w CFL's throughout for support
Environment:Closet Cabinet made from one of these purchased at home depot for $40. Great think about it is if I decide to later into the grow I can simply buy another and it snaps right on top to double the vertical space

The construction of the cabinet was very easy, had to saw out the shelf that is necessary for structural support of the storage container. The reflective material is a car windshield sun-shield if you can't tell.
It works wonderfully for now, but I'm going to eventually be better light-proofing the whole thing at which point I'll upgrade to better material and foil tape. Any recommendations on cheap, but good quality reflective material for this purpose? this picture squished a bit when importing >.> makes the cabinet look smaller than it is.

As you've probably noticed by now I have some kind of nutrient deficiency which isn't surprising seeing as I just got it into it's proper soil today. The first 3 or so weeks it was in soil from a pot in the backyard... Using FFOF and I'm going to be starting some Botanicare CNS17 Bloom with the next watering. Definitely going to be careful with the nutes as that is one of the only things I'm worried about in my grow. Start small, transition to a full dose when I know she can handle it

****I know a lot of you guys probably think I'm in for a disappointment if my one seedling I've had going for almost a month turns out to be male in 10-12 days... backup plan is this: Get 4-6 clones from any one of the awesome dispensaries I'm a member at (I've recently seen some healthy looking clones of ChemDog, Hindu Skunk, and God's Gift to name a few) and and start them on a Hempy container setup in this cabinet. the shallow container that I could fit ~4 plants to and throw them right on to 12/12 would work awesome in this setup; although, in this instance I would likely opt not to scrog anymore rite?
That's the general backbone of my grow; I'm intending to do a scrog similar to that done by the likes of Mr Micro and so many others in PC cases. Have not topped yet, and was wondering what the thoughts were on topping around day 1 of flower when I'm going to scrog anyway... I've got a digital temp/humidity display on the way what will be added shortly. I should also add that I'm quite an aspiring photographer and have a nice little arsenal of macro equipment to provide you guys with absolutely stunning photos every step of the way!

some silverback gorilla I had about 6 weeks ago. Joined my top 5 faves of all time the day I picked it up, and i had never even heard of it!
That's all for now I guess; I have pictures on my Mac partition that I can upgrade when i switch back into mac mode tomorrow. pretty little macros of seedling, etc... OH - also going to be incorporating some ultra-HD time lapse video into the grow as well! just need to get everything as close to permanent as I can so that I don't have to move anything and mess up the video

I made it to one of the local dispensaries that specializes in knowing/helping out newbies with quality genetics. It was the one from the list above that I mentioned with the $10 sale this weekend. I was planning on picking up one Chemdawg 91, one GDP, and one Abusive OG to get a range of plant styles in the cabinet for this grow; things turned out a little differently but I'm very happy they did in hindsight. They were out of everything but the chemdawg when I arrived in the afternoon, but one of the budtenders there had experience with the strain and assured me that with attention and training I can keep these guys low to fill out my cabinet nicely. It turned out nicely for me because of the strains available earlier in the day even, Chemdawg stands out as my go-to sativa. I'm going to spend a good deal of time checking out other Chemdawg 91 grows; does anyone know of any IC'ers whom have posted micro-grows with the strain? 
Regardless, temps are down to a max of 82 with the lights on, 72 in the night with lights off! Thanks again for all the help everybody, this forum truly is awesome.
