100plant SOG in 2'x2'

think rootspace would be a serious issue even with 0 veg. a 4x4 container or rockwool cube and trying to pull a 1/8-1/4ozer off each one is the smallest practical size ive done or seen anyone do without running into more then a few problems.
what got me thinking about this is this thread:

you can easily grow more than a 1/4 from one 4x4" rockwool block.
I'd say you could yield 2 grams dry off each plant, however why not just cut the number in half and pull 4 grams per plant, not much harder, yet gives them so much more room to not be crowded. plus gives them the ability to have a bigger root system, bigger roots=less maintenance trying to keep em happy, plus bigger buds on that plant.

agreed. I realize your thread is hypothetical, but legally, that'd be a horrible idea. you can accomplish the same, if not more, with a handful of properly trained plants.
i know legally, prolly not that smart. then again when thinking that way the best option is to not grow at all.
It just seems like it would be a really efficient use of space/nutes. But i also see how much effort it would take to water and what not. You could potentially have a 2'x2'x2' box that could produce 100g a month.
i also could not imagine that producing 2-3g from a plant would require too much light, perhaps a low wattage cmh/mh/hps or even 100w of cfls could do the trick?
The way I figure it, 4 plants @ a very reasonable average of 50g/plant would give you the same end results (or better) without the the risk of a jailhouse colonoscopy....
All ya would need is a (preferably familiar) vigorous, quicker finisher...maybe 8 girls flowered right after the clones root around the bare bulb simple vert setup...definitely be shattering the 200g per cycle mark that way imo...
