ill second purple wreck. i got 3 females and all were drastically different, but all amazing

lavender is almost violet purple black and is sooo tasty... i need to find clones of this

Question, are you speaking of purple color or purple taste? If it is purple taste, I would suggest purple urkle which is a clone only, easily accessible. If it is purple color, I would suggest like someone said above something out of dj shorts line, try the grape krush, you should get the best of both worlds from those seeds. Find a blueberry pheno and the strain might make your dad famous in the neighborhood...

yup..not to easy to get.. i had to travel all the way from the east coast to get my clone onlys!
Thanks for the comment Aero, I was asking about purple color. Although I really don't care how a plant looks, only its effects, my dad is one to judge a book by its cover. Yeah, I'd only be able to get my Dad seeds clones aren't an option. The blueberry is a wonderful idea! I've never had the opportunity to try a true blueberry, although they're not really purple, they only cure to the blueish tent, right?

as for the OP, you screwed yourself when you limited commentary to "from seed." Best purps I've seen of any kind have been clone only, unless you already have a good purple clone and want to cross it out yourself.
So there's no reliable purple strain that is available in seed form? I'd be happy with 1-2 a pack, or even 1 in a few packs. I want to grow some purple, and I don't have connections or want them. What would my best bet be? It seems the OP is in a similar situation. It seems Grape Krush has been mentioned a few times, along with the rest of DJs gear.

I got a lot of Grand Daddy Purple from a club in the bay that was 100% purple. It was grown hydro in Mendocino County. No green what soever. Most beautiful bud I've ever had.
Any that you'd recommend? Color being #1 priority, with other perks being an added bonus. I just want to grow some plants with not only purple leaves, but purple buds as well.
The best looking purple buds I've ever seen were Mister Postman's purple pheno of Nirvana's PPP. There's not much info other than that one plant though, so I don't want to go looking for something that will take 10 packs to find.

the purple wrecks i grew out were low potency and tasted like sickly sweet burning rubber, which i wasnt too keen on..
i second relentless's warning on dutch passion blueberry, it doesnt go that purple and it is basically just utter trash, weak potency/tasting hermie riddled, poorly bred trash....like most dp strains....
i have some purple chitral kush, purpurea ticinesis and purple panama to pop so i hope to find at least couple of good purple girls in the future..
