2700watt 24 plant SCROG

Well done Lebniis. I really like the looks of your ladies they are doing great. You will definitely get a great yield from that. Keep up the good work.

If the carbon CAN be replaced I've heard anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. hope you hit the 5# mark man! thats my goal for this run as well

So looking at my filter more, and i think you have a can filter too. You'd take out the rivets at the opposite end of where the fan would go, and you should from there be able to pour out/mix around the carbon. I haven't done this yet, but that's my plan after this run.

that would be awesome, I'm always down to save some cheese, and 100lbs of carbon is much cheaper than a new filter

Hmm I always run the can 150's on the ground standing up with oversized fans. Percentage wise what do you guys think the difference is with it mounted on the ceiling?

I just basically let convection play a role in deciding to put my filter at the ceiling, technically the air at ceiling height is going to be warmer, so it's dual purpose in my case at least, let me tell ya though, it wasn't easy to accomplish, I would definitely recommend using 4 ratcheting tie-down straps and use the ratchets to raise the filter in sequence

Yeh that is what I was thinking about the heat. I was silly for thinking the filter needed two people to hang up. It was easy by myself. For me the One bungee will do unless there's a big quake. It has enough support leaning on the fan...

Hey Leb, sorry I been awol, I discovered a stealth risk myself as my new filter wasn`t working, or the replacement filter I got sent to me after a couple of days. Its been so much work swapping all the ducting twice and then went out and bought a 250mm Original Can Filter, reduced it to 200mm with a couple of plant pots. Finally got the mess sorted yesterday, and definitely needed a mate to lift it. Hope the screws and joist are up to it, it weighs a freakin ton!!

Glad you got yer filter up, do check for odours especially when near the end when particularly smelly, espacially if you`re thinking the carbon needs replacing.

there you are, whats up toke.. I had the filter running for 6 months now, it probably needs new carbon but I won't get to it till next run. Your filter looks bigger than mine, I don't know what size mine is though. Stupid question, but you matched up the fan and filters CFM?

Yeah its all in the last couple of pages of my thread, I have a 200mm/8 inch fan RVKL1 940m3, first filter was supposedly rated at 1025m3, but was a joke! They sent me a replacement but was equally crap. I ended up going with an Original Can filter 250mm/10inch with a rating of 1000m3. It`s carbon collar is twice the thickness of the crap ones bought online, but it also cost twice as much as the crap ones. I dont recommend going for budget stuff when it comes to stealth. I`ve got nothing but clear fresh air coming through my exhaust now. Just wish my freaky plants would perform, gonna take my issues to the infirmary forum. see if I can get some idea what`s f**ked up at mine.

sounds good, im starting my first run doing 6kw in the 10x12..

Just wondering if there's a reason why you got 750's instead of 1000w. Less heat but same area coverage maybe? Ive never seen a 750 before.

I personally think the 1000 watt is best for my style... Problem is I didn't learn that until I got these lights and have tested them out. If I remember correctly 750's are popular in commercial agriculture, green houses and such.
