Chiefs first time flower

Hello, im Chief and id like to share my garden in hopes of opinions and appreciated advice. As well as the bag full of questions that keep arising. My first post was 5 weeks ago, not surprising it was in the Infirmary. Since things have looked up but still appear lacking.

They are roughly 10wk from seed. Nirvanas WW, NL, and AK48. As my firsty seed purchase i was very pleased with the price through to the fast delivery. 27/30 sprouted healthy, 10/10 ww, 9/10 NL, and AK48 8/10. Hopefully i do not regret skimping in genetics. Any advice on what phenos would be nice.

12/12/09

Since plants showing preflowers have been sorted and repoted from 1gal to 5gal.

Difference in plants transplanted 2wk later

They were flipped to 12/12 2 days ago. im a little a concerned about height with light penetration, as they are approaching 3ft. a 600w hps and 400w mh are being used through out.

The results of the 600hps and 400mh have not been as expected as most appear to be somewhat lanky and thin from light related but maybe just strain orientated. Opinions?

this is a WW and a group shot

None appear to be "stacked" these are three best on overall structure

These are 3 varying ones

I transplanted into gardner and bloome blue ribbon http://www.gbsoil.com/products-gallery/gbsoil/

and some appear to be burning. This is a NL

Since being transplanted they been givin only LK at full stregnth and water as needed. Could the soil be too hot (is it a soiles mix?) should LK be reduced. The mix has no NPK#. It is Organic and resmbles many mixs ive seen recommended, i am wondering if i will need feed through flower.

5weeks

10weeks

Intreresting how the stem tappers off so quick

Thank you for taking a look comments and advice welcome.

Its going on over 2 weeks and only 2 clones are showing roots and they are both from the same plant. The rest are still alive although leaves are starting to brown and die.

Is it normal for 5gal plant to take a 1 gal of water? Thats 1/2 tbl mollass 2tsp lk per plant.

Im gettin excited, i dont know what to expect. They are already too tall, i waited till most showed pre flowers to flower, so nextime starting with mature clones should really cut down heigth a lot.

1/21

went into flower a couple days later, now its a couple weeks into flower

Too tall for my likings, tghe bottoms are very twigish. But the quite a few tops are startin to poke through. This one is NL and is just a tree, the trunks as wide as a 1" popsicle stick.

This guy has had been struglin for a while. Its always been really light in color and lost quite a few fan leaves. Couple weeks ago showed burnt edges and brown spots. Hasnt progressed and has started flowering so ill hope for the best. Looks like a small yeilder but smells great, but i have no idea whaty to expect still a long way to go.

Heres so random recent pics. Nl is the biggest with ww right behind it and smelling the best, with ak really laking in camparison.

IMHO, they did not look nute burnt. Too much water, humidity? All looks well but so I would not worry. They are getting tall. I found WW to be a real stretcher.

Ya i got room, but all i hjave is a 400w MH and 600w HPS in the same hood. So i think my light penetration is icky. There seems to be quite a few tops popin through with a lot of budsites. So ill hope for the best.

They really havent been fed that much as they went from 1gal to 5 gal before flower, so they just been gettin lk and mollases. Maybe the lgihter color ones need some extra ferts?

Looks great for a first, Chief :D Give the clones time, that is probably the most 'difficult' part of growing, because it's the time when conditions have to be close to perfect, and plants can't get messed with. I give my clones ~3 weeks, depending on the mother. I've found that even if they do pop roots after 3+ weeks, the plants are either runty, or are too far behind the plants that rooted in time to be of much use.

Any chance that you can split those bulbs into separate hoods? Your plants look nice and big, so when they start to fill out, you will want direct light on em. I would think that to get proper coverage, you would have to pick your current hood up too high from the plants, and lose valuable intensity.

Its been 4 weeks and 3 more clones showed roots :D I was starting to count them out, but all of em are still green and look alive so maybe even more will root. So far 11 rooted out of 23.

I ended up splitting the lights from the same hood and now the mh is hanging bare next to the hps. The one plant is well over 5' and is dificult to fit into the light footprint. Ive rotated a couple times and no plants seem to be at a disadvantage.

The girls arfe looking pretty good but im not expecting a big yeild. the 5' nl is one of the slower flowers and just wont stop growing.

Im losing a lot of bottom fan leaves, turning yellow and dropping. Im thinking cause of lack of light, could it be a nut deff? Ive fed em only 2-3 times in almost 4 weeks of flower but they were transplanted to 4gal of fresh soil prior to flower. Also It seems the orioginal 1gal root ball doesnt absorb watewr evenly. if i scratch the surface its dry but when i water it doesnt rub out the sides and the water lowers slowly.

Oh ya my aurora indica came in 7 days im excited for that. I really want to start all 20 seeds and pick some winners, but it seems to grow 20 plants big enough to clone ill be in the same situation im in now. Any thoughs?

The two tall ones are nl. In the group pic above NL on right 4 WW middle and 2 AK on left.

and today is about 4 weeks into flower

Does this look like over feeding?

I the leaves curling down indicate over feeding. I would lay off nutes and just water.
