Exhaust hanger


Vw exhaust hangers are thick rubber that is internally reinforced with chain. This way you have thick rubber pieces, insulating the vibrating components from the structural members of the space.

If the rubber ever breaks, the chain inside will still hold the load securely.

About $2 around these parts. I'm using them to hang my scrubber and blowers

They are about 3-4 inches across. You hang hook from the ceiling and hand these on them, then you take the hooks or bungies of your fan or scrubber or whatever and hang it from the muffler hanger. It acts as a vibration dampener.... but rubber can and will fail so these are reinforced internally with chain so your overhead loads won't fall on your plants.
