Questions about Lowryder and Lowryder seeds

Hello everyone, I am looking into getting Joint Doctors autoflowering lowryder or lowryder 2. Has anybody ever grown these before? I am sure very many have. I will be able to grow them in california between june and august. I may also add completely naturally outdoors, by that I mean just store bought soil and fertilizer. If anybody has any advice on these strains or can give me advice as to where to get the beans, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

In the Joint Doctor section at seed boutique it says that there is nothing for sale, anyone know why? I searched the autoflower section through, can't figure this one out. Thanks.

I've grown LR II before and while it's a good strain I'd say it's medium THC at best. Much prefer White Russian, Himalayan Blue x diesel or Mi5. All are available from a variety of places. I get mine from ******************.

No sorry I have asked and they do not know how to get ahold of JD to get more.

I also asked them if they were going to remove the JD section but did not get a reply. I said if he isn't supporting the forum through sales that he should be removed and treated like any other breeder that is mentioned on this forum and that is to be censored.

Question: If you live in Cali, why would you waste your time with lowryder?

Grow some 1lb-10lb monsters Tom Hill style...

I only live in northern california during the summer, so autoflower is really my only option. If I lived there year round I would have a field of landrace sativas, that's my dream for one day.:joint:

WestCoast4Life, I am growing a my first batch right now.

Got 6 seeds from a buddy, 1 didn't pop, 3 are female, 2 are males.

Have been in coco from day one, tallest plant is probably about 16" right now, put the seeds in the coco on Jan. 8th. Supposedly an 18 week autoflower, hope you're in CA for that long ;)

I might fertilize one of the three females with pollen from the males, but had to remove the males from my veg area to avoid contamination in the room. I dropped the males outside just yesterday in the yard so I can collect pollen when they start developing more.

This is as far as they'd gotten as of four days ago

As far as my growing experience, these have been a pretty no fuss strain. These are part of my real first run at growing from seed and out of the strains I have, these are the only ones which never discolored from my nute measurement f-ups or the over/under water lesson I learned, in fact they just kept doing their thing and are filling out nicely.

I wouldn't doubt that these would thrive in an outdoor setting. Too bad you're not closer, I'd have gladly handed over these that I have... need to make room for other plants!

They are Lowryder, but I may be wrong about the time length, I found one resource online saying they pushed their plants to 18 weeks, but found others that say that 7 weeks is enough.

Mine have barely begun to show sex traits as of last week, and this Friday would be week 7 to the day. So take it for what it's worth. I plan on letting them go at least another few weeks yet under a 1000w hps to try and achieve a higher yield.

When it's day time in the veg chamber again I'll get some photos of my females at 7 weeks to show you.

7 weeks!!? Is that outside or under the 1000 watter? My DieselRyders are only 6 weeks old and they are almost finished, most auto's sex at 2-3weeks I believe...

Here is a link to ICC growing LowRyder II and he really seems to know what he's doing.

Just my 2cents :dance013:

So where would you guys recommend acquiring some autoflowering beans that finish in 60-80 days? I don't want/need any faux AF genes in any form and am willing to pay for good genetics.

AutoFems & GlassHoler-You both are prob right. I guess I got a bag of mystery seeds. Never grown an autoflower before so I was going with the assumption that they were what I was told.
