How much light do you use?

Now either this will be a very popular thread, like I hope it will be, or no one will respond other than "what were you thinking?" kinds of posts. I see people freely admitting to having huge grows, so I would think it would not be a big deal or violation of TOU or anything like that (in the event this is closed/binned, please inform me why).

It's just that I feel overwhelmed and wonder if everyone here is using 10k + or whether "little guys" like me would fit in. I'd just be interested to gauge how common or uncommon 2K or less is here.

In case anyone gets confused, I intended this to be how much you use in the flowering cycle. if you want to mention what you use for veg too, great. if not, fine. As much/little info as you are comfortable with, the more the better.

(I selected the poll option that is private. there is a public option that reveals who voted for what, which I don't see the sense to and sense that it could be a problem for some. If you want to say in a post you are most welcome to).

It will be very interesting to see the results of this poll.

I have a suggestion:
do another poll of lightings, where you ask that how many watts people use per square meter. Then you could get a general picture of lightnings. There could be HID and CFL/LED separately too.

downgraded to a 250w hps going for efficiency since I dont sell I only need enough for me and some extra to share with company. Was using a 400w I am keeping in case I cant get enough with my new setup.

I voted 1-2K with CFL or LED sidelighting... because the poll wasn't clear it's for your flower area. *shrug*

I have a 1K HPS I've been playing with lately. (Had it packed up for years)
I also have a 220w PL-L CFL flower chamber that's being used for veg.
I also have a 110w PL-L CRL veg chamber that's about to be re-vamped for veg.

Do you have a poll for crappy water? I have that too. Heh

The light Im flowering under now gets pretty HOT about 13,600,000 kelvins in fact & she's real BRIGHT 3.846×1026 watts

Real cheep to run though ....... lol
