I think Johnny Depp is great and all but that's not why i plan on watching the film. This whole CGI scene plays a huge role in my generation's pop culture and it's gunna be interesting to see how good it gets over the years. Just like comparing a sci-fi from the 80s to one made today. It's cool to see how far we've come!
I hope something happens and they stop this film 
You have too realize how hard it would be for the actors 2 act out scenes in front of a blue screen....I think it's brilliant! Johnny Depp would not be my only reason...but my favourite reason too see the film....I have always loved Alice in Wonderland as a kid-that was my era!
Charlie and the Choc factory, I thought that shat all over the original....And I reckon this will too! Even the Chesire cat looks frikkin Awesome! It's gonna kick ass.....especially the effects...
Also I thought 300 was just awesome...I dig our technology and how far we have come since the 80's....Go Tim Burton!

didn't think about that. I'm not sure but from what i've seen from the theatrical previews, it's just a retelling or remake of the original story.

I happened to catch the preview in front of Avavtar 3-D, and it looked very, very nice. But the preview I seen for Fight Club before it came out completely turned me off to the movie. Took me years to watch it, and when i did?
Loved it. Go figure.
Tim Burton kicks ass. Johnny Depps kicks ass. I might just have to check it out.

indeed, i love that he doesn't make a crap load of movies in one year (like most "A-list" actors) it's more special that way!
I agree, Lil. I loved the original Alice in Wonderland (and Alice Through the Looking Glass) so I hope this movie does it some justice.
EW just EWWW he looks so naRSty in that!! lol I'd tap him for sure, hes hot in the pirates movie, and blow, and secret window, ok hes just hot, even in benny and joon, I fucking am so obsessed with johnny depp.

I thought Johnny Depp was great in Sweeny Todd. Usually I dont like musicals, but it was a good movie.
