WTF causes this? They rooted fine, they are green and healthy, then they started to go alternate, and got all funky. had some nice five leaflet leaves, then three, now one? WTF Anyone know why? Is it a hormone thing? Lighting?.........

They will go back to normal. I've seen clones do this when they are not perfectly happy.... just give them a few weeks to get growing again.

But why? It is the understanding that I seek! Well, and some comfort in knowing that my prize strains will right themselves....I hope! Thanks

where did the cuts come from? and when where they taken, specifically' were the moms into to flower, thats when I've seen this type of growth, due to taking cut from plants that are 5 to 10 days (or more) into flower. as well from moms that were full of nutes, did you flush your mom prior to taking your cuts? like ny said 'they will grow out of it'

happens all the time with clones, when you snip a cut the plant does get stressed and some throw single bladed leafs others keep goin 5+ blades, I think genetics has a part to play with it because some of my strains do this more predominately, others dont. Either way in a week to two weeks its all normal, nothing different in growth/yield after that.

this happens everytime if the cuts came from a flowering female....its a re veg...or gnarly stress will do this....

if this happens during flower you have a light leak and the plants are re veging

Guys above are correct, they are re-veging, came from a flowering mom ;)
They will straighten out, just takes a bit longer.

concur. If you just transplanted them recently then they most definitely came from a flowering mother, and the clone is just tripping out right now and wanting to revert back to veg growth.

Its either that or they are heavily root bound.

Don't be freaked out if you see weird shit before they fully switch back to veg (ie: 2 blade leaves, 3 blade leaves that are disproportional to one another)

PS are you getting any spiral or snail shell looking growth tips or lower internodes?
