What's new

1000w Multi Bucket RDWC

Hey Hey,

So I did find a nice dehumidifier for only 100 bucks yes on Ebay total score. That should be here in the next few days. Then I will remove all leaves infected with Powery Mildew and spray one last time some OMRI listed Mildew Out. Then turn the dehumid. on and wa La no more powdery or chance for any mold to form in there. Almost on week five and everyone is still exploding with growth. Yea. I will update you visually later today or tomorrow.

So We did a major copping yesterday cause there was so much PM in there. So we de-leaved everything that had PM on it and then sprayed a round of serenade. Thank God this morning I heard from the Dehumidifier guy finally and they have shipped it so hopefully we can get it under control and then cut off the humid and stop that damn PM. Here is a couple photos that show how much we chopped out.

Alot of the nugs are still pretty small as you can see below. I hope they chnk out more before harvest?

But there are also some beauties they are are in the middle right where the light is concentrated. I am hoping the outside buds will get larger and more full if we let them go longer than the middle plants.

I'll tell ya right now the dehu is not going to solve the pm problem my rh was 25 and it still kept coming back. You need to clean the entire room with bleach head to toe after chop and dunk the shit out of your clones in some zone & penatrator thats the only thing that has totally killed it for me dead gone never came back ever.
Oh ya your plants look very tasty
Good luck

Wow so the Dehumidifier won't do it huh. I have a couple of questions for ya big green. What do you mean by dunk the clones with zone and penatrator. Could you explain more about these products. Thanks alot for the info.

So last night we went and got crazy on the ladies and chopped down the screen cuase it was a pain in the ass not even barely supporting anything, so it is gone now. We also cut every piece of PM out and bleached the floors and lids to buckets also the walls. Then we sprayed hopefully for the final time Serenade on every last piece of the plants, I am thinking we have destroyed all PM in the room but it could come back. We also put up Mylar in place of the panda plastic cause I felt like the outer nugs were not getting efficient levels of light, but you can really see the difference with the mylar. Here some pics of the new and improved room.

The stocks on these ladies are huge.

The humidity did go down a bit cause of the mylar. still is high but I just did a serenade sprays so there is still a descent amount of moisture in there.

You can spray a mixture of 1 part milk to 9 parts water and it will take care of your PM problem. The one big thing with pm, once you have, you have it. After this grow, I would scrub your entire room down before you grow again.

I mean dunk them clones in the solution totally submerge em then you dont miss anything. I wouldnt use the sulfur this far along. You clould spray em in the zone mix tho if the seranade doesnt hold it back but its kinda to far along. You have to get it with the small little cuts.
I have had the pm bad and it is gone for a year now and it never came back. I even took clones off a mother with pm treated with the zone + penetrator and cleaned the shit out of the room with a fungiside with bleach the stuff you can buy for cleaning bathroom tile and stuff. I dont remember the mix rate right now for the zone mix I would have to re look it up.
I guarantee it works search it up in the infermary and look up pm
Good luck

Yea! I went in the room today and checked for PM and found very little. I did hopefully the final serenade spray on the spots that still showed a little. But I think we have it under control. We have decided not to do Hydro any more. We are going with organic soil making our own composts teas like the other room. Hopefully these little ladies start chunking cause they are looking pretty scarce. I think it was cause there wasn't sufficient light in there the mylar was needed through the whole flower cycle. Thanks for your help.

At least your ladies look good n frosty...maybe you're mistaking all those white glands for PM!
Re: sulfur burner...dON'T DO IT at this point! You are way too far along. I only burn sulfur up to day 10 of flower -- and even that is pushing it. Sulfur works great against both PM and mites in veg...it changes the ph of the leaf surface, and the benefits can last for 3 weeks to 30 days. Beyond that, I use a green cure spray made of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda?) You can use it up to day of harvest.
I've heard good things about that zone penetrator combo buthave not tried.

Serenade works bomb as fuck if you soak the shit out of everything. You have soak the plants so that it is running off the leaves totally wet like you sprayed it with a garden hose. But it works really, really good. then bleach walls etc. I knocked out a straight PM infestation at a buddy's dispensary with 1 application of serenade, and then bleach wiped walls and floor.

Ancient and superusa thanks guys. I wasn't plannin on doing the sulfer burner thanks for the info though that is definetly a need to know. I think the serenade did the trick as I said above I went in last night and didn't see much at all but sprayed really good on the underside of the canopy. Thanks again for all the help on The PM issue.

I've only just recently heard of using ultraviolet air treatment to control mold spores. A device like this might be sufficient for a single room operation. I think they're around $4-500 though it might be feasible to DiY.

Aquatic units are great for keeping the funk under control in conventional non-organic hydroponics rigs. Google for ultraviolet sterilizers for aquariums.

Newhiddengrower Bongz answered it for us PM is Powdery Mildew. I should have taken some photos for everyone to see but they are scary, no one likes to see the ladies like that.

Surrender I have heard of that I am interested in it for sure but don't know how far I want to go with the whole indoor grow. I don't see myself spending that type of money on this cause I am an outdoor type of guy. I prefer to use nature and all of it's magnificent free environment controllers, granted outdoor has it's issues but I am in one of the best places to do outdoor in the US. I do want to do Greenhouse in the future though, the sterilizer would be something to keep for then too, Huh.(dreaming of the future)
