for those of you who use Meta-K my 1 gal jug I just bought when I shake it has a bunch of solids on the bottom is this normal for this line or is it bad?

I know with fox farm nutes if there are solids when you shake it it is bad but I do not know about this product...Definitely wanted to ask before using though thanks.

40, I don't have much experience with Earth juice but I did just try their microblast. It had "stuff" in it too, I mixed it into the rez and had no problems. It seemed to me like it was supposed to be there. But of course I could be wrong.

Yea, I am thinking it is normal for a lot of organic ferts, but bad for chem ferts. I know for sure it is bad for chem ferts as many have said chuck the chem ferts if it has solids formed in it.

Just want to make sure I know this stuff is popular so someone should pop up with a solid answr sooner or later I am thinking.

Rule #1 (Besides security) It is cheaper to replace questionable anything in the grow room than to risk sick or dying plants. When in doubt - toss it out.

There is a bunch of threads about old nutes turning lethal - the consensis was if it rattles toss it. Storage conditions can change shelf life too.

Old ferts - I use on the grass that gets mowed.

Yes, this indeed does hold true for chemical ferts as I had read and believed to be true previously.

However, now that I have had time to properly do my own research it is said that most of the Earth Juice ferts have solids on the bottom and Earth Juice ferts should be bubbled in order to maximize the benefits.

Thanks for giving your advice though as they could have actually indeed been bad!
