so, I orderd this 118"x59"x72" grow tent online(which, byt he way is fucking A,mazing... minus a few small things) But anyways, I get this box in the mail, its about 7 feet tall and weighs 75 pounds... It has 4 HUGE pictures of what it is, and it says GROW TENT, or GROW HUT something like that taking up like a third of the box. Nice fucking advertising. Ever heard of some discretion for your customers. I know people could be growing tomatoes or fruits in their house but I bet you, I fuckin bet you 75% of this company's customers arnt growing fruits or vegatables in their house, so i would recommend NOT putting I GROW WEED advertising all over the box. God help me, If anyone at UPS wants to be a bitch.

I hate that. I had that happen with a grow light about a year ago. Assholes. Research the hydro site stealth policy. Greentree hydro for example is very stealthy.

the problem is, i bet this is like a VERY LARGE percentage of ebay or online shops. If the drop ship ANYTHING, then this can happen.Drop shipping is when the company you order a product from, orders it from either the manufacturer or distributor, and THEY ship directly to you(not the company you ordered from). This now means a whole new company gets your address. They do this because they never have to stock anything, and you get it fast I would always ask the company you are ordering from 2 questions. first is, who is shipping the product, second, is it discreet packaging? I don't even like getting i huge brown box, and the return address is like GREG's HYDRO SHOP. how stupid are these companies, if we get caught we can't buy more stuff. why not have it be GHS on the return label?????
never order anything grow related to your grow house, that is really the safest and only way to have piece of mind.

i would move to a new place after the heat cools off if you aren't in a med state and if you are in a med state then be under your limits. ups is full of snitches. US post office is the only safe way but not if it's advertized on the box. i've read about online stores using "drop boxes" and third party shipping. also read about LEO's doing that. I don't believe everything i read but just pointing out various possibilities. Be safe.

GenHydro is real bad to send free samples UPS in non-discreet boxes. Then they send you a $0 invoice in US Mail with "plant nutrients" clearly visible in the envelope window.

Excellent advice! Spend about 1000 dollars on soil/medium, nutes, electricity, and bulbs just to CYA on something that is never going to happen.

If you are not a shady character, the delivery of an agricultural product does not provide reasonable suspicion for a warrant.

Hydro supply places know that ganja growers are their bread and butter. So look on their website, find the contact info and send them a polite email telling them what happened and that you expect better discretion from them and won't be ordering from them again.

Word-of-mouth advertising is very strong and they don't want unhappy customers.

This is what I did, and I received an email back from the manager who tracked down the problem. It wasn't their normal policy but merely a mistake by a careless shipping guy.

Don't expect any personal satisfaction, but it may alter how they do business in the future.
