What's new

Is there ANY shared lineage between Satori and C-99 or the Diesels?

Hey All, :D

I'm looking for background info on Satori... other than it's from Nepal landrace. :D

I'm currently medicating with:
Ciesel (C-99XPrincess Diesel)
Princess Diesel (Ice Princess X Sour Diesel)
Pandora's Box (Pluton X Purple Haze X Lambsbread X NL X Jack Herer X Romulan X Cindy99BCGA X Romulan X C-99) :chin:

And Trainwreck (Mexico genetics xThai genetics) Or something like that.

I'm switching between the Trainwreck and everything else, since all the other stuff seems to build on the same tolerances. I'm running out of Trainwreck though. Heh.

So the question is.... would the genetic background of Satori be different enough that I would experience more of a 'Clean Break', than the 'Muddled Shift' I experience now? LOL

I wouldn't ask, except I'm finding very little on the net about the background of Satori. Thanks. :D

Stay Safe! :tree:

the mandala strain description is what it is. I have found Mandala strains to be quite unique, new (to me) smells and flavours, always a nice buzz.

We have given so many interviews on our work and posted such a large amount of info on our breeding over the years that this discussion does surprise me.

We do not use any of the common commercial seeds available. It completely contradicts the entire objective of our seed bank.

I think that anyone familiar with growing Mandala strains is highly unlikely to see a similarity between Hashberry and the original Blueberry, or any other of our strains with inbred commercial types. Specific aromatic traits are not exclusive to one single variety in the world. ;-)

The genetics of Hashberry, Sadhu, Mandala #1, Ganesh... are explicitly published in our online catalogue. All landrace genetics are also clearly indicated for every strain as specifically as possible.

The exact genetics cannot always be traced when you collect seeds from other sources. There is no intentional "secrecy" to our breeding. It is simply that when you work with novel and rare seeds there is often a mystery to their parentage for many reasons.

Since we work with our own unique collection of seeds from original native locations, private sources, etc. most of the seeds don't carry names. They are catalogued by us with our own system of letters and numbers. So it won't tell you anything if the mother line of Satori contains Z53, or if the daddy of Speed Queen is P01. I really do think that in such instances the resulting outcome is important

I used to grow satori and I will say the high is very unique. I found it too erratic for my taste. When we used to grow it we also had sour diesel, strawberry cough, blue moonshine, and ssh The satori was always last picked to smoke. I posted some info a while back about on someones Satori thread. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions about it.

I grew Satori three years ago. The three females I got were very similar: very potent, but with a high I didn´t really liked, kind of creepy. And then, a light but tenacious headache...
