So me and a pal just finished setting up most stuff. We got to mount more lights and spread the plants out but that's it.
2 dozen plants 1800 watts plus

Care to shed light on your reason for choosing different potting methods? Speaking of light, what are you using on those little babies? Please share.

The different pots is due to availability and cost reasons. A couple of them I got from *&$, empty 5 gal. #@&^% containers and cut them in half. I Also transplanted at different times as well, so that threw off size. I had some left over hard plastic pots and so I just bought grow bags to supplement.
The lights we have now: 1 - 600 watt HPS and 1 - 400 watt MH
I ordered a 400 watt HPS from HTGsupply.com that's on it's way. (fudgers only sent the bulb, so I called them up and the're sending me the system with an additional bulb (Sweet)).
And my neighbor is going to let us borrow another 400 watt.
And his drunk buddy one night said he would let us borrow 2 other 400 watt systems.
5 lights total if we get all of them, thats 2200 watts. But I'm thinking it will be too hot so we might just run 4 lights, being 1800 watts.

True that, a bunch of ppl and I mean a bunch of ppl have been telling me to not let anyone know. I usually don't tell anyone, on the account of who ever needs to know will probably find out. But I definitely trust the neighbor. The friend of his was "vouched for". The friend that was vouched for told me in the past he's been jacked twice.
As for security, I got a weapon and a whole lot of time to spend at home. I figure, if I keep a vigilant eye and mind, I should be able to out smart them or make them bleed. I will go down with the ship.

Hope you gotta lot of property a good weapon gets you caught faster! Gotta remember it's not like we can call the cops and say i caught the man trying to steal my stash...generally speaking the less who know the better, if people are contributing equipment they obviously want to be taken care of, a piece of the pie quickly turns into seconds and thirds my friend. Stay safe and vigilant.

Fortunately I'm growing within my legal boundaries, so I could potentially call the cops. Besides, that would take to long, I'de probably take matters into my own hands.

Sometimes these things you can call as you see, but others are people you can't even call out. Had a co-worker discover my setup and he seemed alright about it, then I find out 2 weeks later he's deep in crack and had just stolen a half O and $700 from his girlfriend.
Had another friend who usually had small buds and he got jacked by 3 big black dudes at gunpoint. Its not always your mistake of trust, but if you tell a friend who tells a friend who tells a friend, there's always a chance that someone in that line will say, "yo lets go rob that fool"
Its always wise to just keep your partner list to a minimum.
