Hey guys. I just wanted to get your opinion on what you'd do in my particular situation.

I just set up a new room with 4kW. I have 80 plants under there and 8 or 12 of them are ChemD plants that started throwing nanners. I think I found a light leak in the room that was most likely the cause.

I'm almost 5 weeks in 12/12 cycle and I noticed the nanners about 4 days ago.

Would you leave the hermied plants in there and ride it out, hoping the male flowers don't throw pollen and seed the other, otherwise perfect, plants?

Or would you just yank them and know for sure the other 68-72 will be unaffected.

I'm already pretty sure what I'm going to do, but I just wanted all of your opinions.

It happened to me during my last grow. I just picked the few male flowers and everything went fine, no more shown up afterward.

I'd keep them. Pick off the nanners and put all the hermies in one section. Then put up like a clear poly from the floor to almost the top of the plants to kinda section them off in case you miss a couple (which you probably will). Pollen doesn't blow around all wildly like most people think. A little pollen in your room WILL NOT affect future grows unless you grow out a male and let it pollinate your room (I don't care what anyone says).

Worse case is you get a FEW random seeds. Would you throw out 8-12+ oz. of good pot over a few seeds? Not me.

Hey lap shity thing but nanners are a part of life. I pluck the nanners that i can leave the plants. Unless they start shooting off a milliion i leave the plant... may get a seed or two. I found 3 seeds in 6#'s last round... They all nanners cause i had to put them in a u hual over night and it was cold as fuck.

Nanner gals ain't hermi's, they are survivors, no big deal unless they go crazy early in bloom. I have nanner gals in every crop, rarely get more than a couple seeds.

if they are the nanners that pop out of the buds then pick what you see and keep the plants. i have only ended up with 1-3 seeds from nanners like that total. like cf said... its chem d ;)
