Okay, so what do you guys think....other than the sloppy artwork.

4 plant site
External Pump - Mag drive - 300-500 gph?
30-40 gal lower res - 20-25 gal water level
8 sprayers
two large air stones
Auto top-off system

Do you see any potential flaws, such as accessing the lower rez for whatever reason, or missing key components, etc.

Note: I am not quite sure what to do about about a drain for the bottom rez...The res will most likely be sitting on the ground because of overall height issues...total of 7 ft from floor to ceiling.

Possible solution -- getting a sump pump to pump water out, then using the sump to pump new mixture back in rez?

Wouldn't the water supply throw off your nuts?

And your drain?

you are going to want a good filter between your res and pump, and even a filter from your drain to res.

Yes, as nutes/water are used by plants the ppm's will decrease thoughout the week. Needing to refresh with a new solution every 1 to 2 weeks

Great point about the drain. I am not quite sure what to do about that...The res will most likely be sitting on the ground because of overall height issues...total of 7 ft from floor to ceiling.

Not sure if the water supply is really needed. Tho not a bad idea. I loose about 2 gals a day from my res, which I just fill by hand each day.

Just use a larger size tube from the bottom of the grow area back to the top of your res.

Another thing you should think about it lowering your res temps so it will be as near as you can to 68.

This would save me from having to do that, not that its a big issue...just want to make it as low maintenance as possible

I use a shop vac for my rez changes, I will also vac the feed lines just to make sure sprayers are clear to. it works for me. if you have a full time nutes meter you could monitor the ppm with this set up. I like the idea that looks pretty trick.

The shop vac works great...just watch the roots.

if there is too much spray, there tends to be a little leaking around the top.
