New to breeding...Advice on crossing Super Lemon Haze?

Hey guys! I have about 2 years of growing experience now, I've always wanted to try breeding but have been worried about pollinating too much of my room and losing yield/quality.

Is there some way I can pull a male out at some point and just put it somewhere else (I don't have anywhere else to flower though, just a veg chamber, or leaving it out on a desk or something...or I could take it's pollen and kill it?)

I am planning on buying some seeds and crossing the male I get with a Super Lemon Haze female from greenhouse. I love the strain but I can't wait 10-12 weeks and I want a big yielder. I don't fully understand how to achieve this (backcrossing etc; haven't done enough research yet but I will,) but I'm thinking 1 of these 3 for the male...

Leaning towards Serious Chronic... Kind of Pricy but I've heard great things, and I wouldn't mind running some of those females!

Thanks for any and all advice guys! :smokey:

heyo phattybudz!

maybe you should try this out: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=2966816#post2966816
this worked for me and I never had any problems with cross pollination..
a SLH x Chronic sounds great, should be some killer phenos in there.. :smokeit:
but if you talk about yield and flowering time up to 9 weeks max, CriticalMass from Mr. Nice comes to my mind... :2cents:
good luck to your breeding project, looking forward seeing some dank ladies from you :D

You should find a thread that discusses how to gather pollen without pollinating your fems (sorry, I don't have one on reserve). Then take your pollen and put it into a brown paper bag. Lightly spray the stigmas that you want to pollinate and cover them with the brown paper bag with the pollen inside. Give it a little shake to make sure the stigma(s) are covered and remove the bag carefully so no other pollen gets out. If you do it carefully, everything should be peachy keen. Expect many good seeds and know when to harvest.

get yourself a northern lights, ak-47, chronic, bubblegum male and flower em out and collect the pollen to store for later breeding as well.
