Finally iv got my coco so i can start round 2 of the Mr Nice Shit

I got some vermiculite and perlite too, as u can see, this is for my seedlings and cuttings which il b doing in the near future. Im keeping two mothers of the shit one with the more skunky pheno and one with the more afghani pheno until i decide which i like best.The other three are gonna have a couple of weeks in veg and then into flower, one is going into the oxy-pot and the other two are going into a mix of the coco and bio-bizz all-mix organic soil and im gonna add a little xtra perlite too for added drainage and maximum air to the roots. these will be under a 400 w hps

...and these are the three little ladies there lookin a bit under the weather at the moment cuz theyv been sat in sedling pots for weeks until i decided how i was gonna do my second grow, i repotted them on saturday the one in the perlite is the one going in the oxy-pot,they are sat under a 125w enviro-lite, as soon as they hav established some roots in those pots with the help of top max root stimulator the soil plants are going into a 16 litre container (sharing) and the other is going into the oxy-pot. il update the grow evry week...

sup mate.... nice stuff that Canna Coco has added Trichoderma T-003 fungas, that colinizes the roots n' increases the rootmass as well as keeping nasties @ bay :tup: cool product...

I'm using the Coco bricks, like the bio-nova ones cept there not bio-nova mixed them 70/30 coir/perlite... with 1" hydroton on bottom, they love it!

week 2 update

week 2 update

The plants r lookin good, theres still a bit of a nute def but it is gettin better, iv repotted the two for soil with three parts all-mix two parts coco and one part perlite.The other is in the oxy-pot which im doin a thread on after this in the hydro forum. As u can see the mix works really well check out the roots on this one, its been in the 15cm pot for a week from the seedlin pot it was in before.

This is how they looked before i repotted um theyre not much bigger but there lookin helthier and the roots have grown at an awesome rate
Im running them on 18/6 now instead of 24 hours solid, iv repotted them into this pot which is just a storage container , i like to let my roots grow out rather than down i find i get a better yield and bushier plants, i also added tubes as u can see to allow more air to the roots i found this works weel too i havent done it on the past few grows but im gonna start doin it a gain plus oi added a layer of hydroton balls on the bottom layer of the pot, i wanna get max air to the roots


Iv stopped giving them the root juice now and iv fed them once so far last nite before i repotted them, the mothers have been repotted and will b ready for cuttings soon. im gonna give them another week maybe two then there goin under the 400hps for buddin period....update again next week..

Havent had time to do it, i been in chats too much lol. Any way as u can see theyre doin real good, looks like my coco soil mix is doin good as i expected, the nute defo is gone and they are growin well and puttin down a nice root system, the one at the back is really taking off.

As u can see my coco soilmix is out growin the oxy-pot but the roots have only just started to get into the water. Room temp is at 20-23 degrees and humidity is relatively low, theyve only been fed once the day before last with some bio-grow so im gonna feed em a few more times then put them into flower mid next week.peace

just took some more snaps today after havin them in 48 hrs darkness ready for flowering they are now under the 400hps, as u can see they are really healthy, iv only fed them about twice since the last update, and now they are in the 12/12 light period.


Iv trimmed them up around the bottom cuz the growth wads so dense there and i shall trim them again wen they are about a week or two into flower.They are still kickin ass over the hydro, which is all good, id hope theyd beat it.But wel have to see how they perform wen the flowers start growin. heres a shot of the root growth

Not bad eh!! those roots are covered up now so no light gets to em.peace until next week

Hey ezozo, thanks for stoppin in, this is the first time iv tried puttin theminto 48 hrs darkness before bud, i usually do it before harvest if i can. I thought about doin it before flower then i read in an article interviewin Adam from Th seeds that he does it, he says it resets the plants ready for their next cycle, so they kno there in for a change, so i thought it cant do any harm and i gave it a try...peace

...the picture is a bit dark i kno...should of took the pics wqith the light off. T he plants are still super healthy and going good, just startin to show signs of flowers....unfortunately the hydro is catchin up, damn that hydro but then the soil plants hav only been fed about four times, usually i wud have fed alot more but the plants hav bein doin so good i havent bothered feedin too much.

Iv just got back from Switzerland last nite and my mum has been lookin after my plants for me, i cant trust anyone else to do the job properly....they have just started there fourth week of flowering and they r lookin pretty good

Th e hydro plant has coaght up and has more bud on it but i shall be upping the feed with the soil plants and they also hav the same nute defficiency as last round I checked soil ph before i went away and it was a bit too high so il check it again and see how it is..heres acouple of bud shots


Anyone any clues to this defficiency???????? it only started wen the plants were put into flower and irts pale all over the plant more to the top


The trichs are lookin ok but the buds are not as big as the hydro though there are more trichs on the soil plants.Il add some epsom to the next watering and start gettin the bloom stimulator in there too...till next time

my internet connections been down so no update last week, iv given the plants a good flushin cuz the soil ph has got too high, and i got major nute defo as u can see from the pics i dunno wot caused this iv been giving them water and feed at 6-6.5 ph, i check ed them tonite and its actually gone down, wen i flushed em with ph 6 water the run off was ph 8,now the ph probe reads around 6 so thats good theyre bein fed again, but one is comin up too finish in prolly just over a week maybe two so water only soon....
the leaves have stiopped fallin off and a bit of colours comin back, but it is too late now anyway, yield is greatly reduced il be on top with it next time

so we'll hav to see how they do from now il giv em a good feed so hopefully theyl get some more colour back..wait and see

Well harvest is comin up soon the smaller plant at the back was the faster finisher so i chopped it, it smells so friuty and citrusy gonna be a real quality smoke but low yield probly less than half oz. iv hardly fed them due to this deffiency and high soil ph but its too close to harvest now so just water..

shes litterally goin white...anyone any ideas to this deff, shes got hues of red on the bud too, but that cud be down to cooler dark period. this plant will probly go for bout nine weeks its seems to be more sativa pheno in it tan the others, strange considering its nearly 100% indica...yield off this one will be ok still dissapointed with this soil grow..but hey u win dsome u loose some, next time il crack it.

shes trichin up nicely and the hairs are goin off red on the lower part of the plant so shes in for the chop soon..i need the space anyway for the test grow im doin..next update will probly b harvest time

for this thread, i chopped the last of the soil plants down last night, i needed to make way for the Dankouver test grow seeds and the hydro plant was ready but this soil plant cud of gone for a bit longer, she was reall sick wen i chopped her due to the nute defo i had an dcudnt get rid of, shud still be a nice smoke tho, heres a pic of her bfore the chop
