can anyone chime in on yield of this strain. it will be outdoors in 1.5-2 sq yrd bed so it will get big, hopefully. im just looking for a simple "average", "above average" "high" answer.

sorry bro, i can't answer your question but i'd like to know as well. i haven't really heard much about this strain until recently. whats the difference between 707, which i assume is from humboldt, and the regular headband? just wondering because a friend of mine lives in humboldt and i've smoked some "headband" from there.

chron-headband 707 isnt original headband aka original diesel, daywrecker, old hippie headband, which supposidly helped create all the diesels and OGKs.
707 is usualy ogkush x sourdiesal x master kush, and sometimes no master kush or sometimes skunk in it.
my friend in mendo grew the ogk x sour dee (707) and it was bombb, smelled amazing like diesel so strongg. the smell of fresh diesel bud lingered in a room after i cleaned it and removed herb for 2-3 days.

meengreen-have you experimented with any form of training, topping, supercropping, or LST with the band to improve yields?

i think a single topping at 5th node could only improve yields with this plant?

Below average yield, way, way, way, above average in quality..

Hopefully you got the real 707 Hb cut, because if so, you're in for a treat.

Yes, topping at about 1' tall and click to 12 1 week later. I used General Hydro, with the licious and nectar. I throw in the super tea and budswell also. I drench with great white, and use roots accellerator by House and Garden until week 3 ob flower, and use shooting powder for 2 weeks with a final 7 day flush. Ill try some more pics

here is my Headband.

here is my Headband.

The longer it cures, the more potent and diesel smell it gets. Made some incredible butane oil from the trim too.

meen-thankyou, sounds good!
this will be a 100% organic grow. ammended compost medium, compost "juice" and a form of carbs, thats it. practically just water fed. oh, and outdoors.
still cant see your pics green, :/ , its alright though, i would love to see them, but no rush.

bterrz-hah, right on then.i can sacrifice yield for fire. thats how it is more often than not.

I'm going to try running this in a greenhouse this season too. Just got 4 cuttings from a very good source in Humboldt. Can't find much info about its outdoor culture, but I'm going to assume its straightforward enough and harvest based on trichome condition. I've been told by someone growing it indoors that it can and will take LOTS of feeding.
