Plant in ground or in pots?

obviously the ground would be more beneficial to the roots as there is more space to grow. but then u will have the mold problem, plus if it rains getting dirt and bits splashed up into ur buds. putting a covering layer of gravel or wood chip should help though.

wood chippings will rob your soil of N as it breaks down. il be trying planting directly into the ground this summer, il do some directly into the dirt and some into holes i digg and fill with my own soil mix.

Anywhere where nettles thrive... cannabis will thrive

peace i know this doesnt answer the question but a little tip for ya find a patch of nettles go into the middle of it remove some to creat a space for your autos turn over the soil a few times and plant direct to the dirt feck diggler ;) lol

I've grown autos both directly in the ground and in pots. While those in the ground did well, the ones in pots did much better. Putting them in pots gave me better control over the soil mixture and were easier to feed and maintain. They also gave bigger yields. Plus they are mobile. If anyone is coming around it's easier to hide them. I start mine in 5" square pots and transplant to bigger pots after sexing them. A 1 to 1 1/2 gallon pot is good for indica based and a 1 1/2 to 2 gallon is good for sativa based. A 3 gallon pots is good for the bigger autos like Mi5 and Onyx.

i alway's put them if i can in directly in the ground (from seed) but first i make the siol good mix in seaweed , N P K and dead fresh water fish and good soil and more but dont know the english names sorry.
the new autoflowers need big root pace! and i like too give them liquid feeding to.
if i cant grow them in direct in ground i juse very big pots do basixly the same only put in some earth Worms too.
but this earth mix need too rest for a month ore more (for the earth worms do there work) befor puting in the seeds too grow.

thats the problem you see them only as auto's??
me and some friends have some good gentic/breed ? dieselryders
put direct in the grownd growing 1 meter high some bit higher but we traite them not just autoflowering .
the problem is with begining autoflowers growers that they think owh its a auto flower they dont need big root space no feeding no good light spot you name it.
they need that all but good gentic/strains of autoflower is a must too!
the most breeder are not selectin they only make seeds for $$ (selecting is time and time is money $)
i got my auto flower like a dieselryder and ak47 from friends that select them for sise and yeileing it only toke them 2 year outdoor only so 2 genartion and you got biger autoflowers and more yieling.
wil try too look up a pic of thise autoflowers for you

make just a nice hole from 60cm by 60cm mix it al in. but size doesn't matter so must(sey my wife lol)
(you can yuse this hole the next year too only put in some chikken menuwere?shit? sorry dont know the name but it must be a year old chikkenshit other wishe its too sourish (acid)?

i put in that hole 5 seeds i select the nices one if they show sex i keep the best female(some times if 2 are very nice 2)
