I run a 1000W in the corner of my kitchen, usually 9 to 12 girls, and it's NEVER empty

I can make MAYBE $20K a year, OVER what I smoke with my setup

I certainly will NOT quit my day job.

now IF someone came up to me with a proposition of what you just described, I'd say "we need 6000W IF you want to make a LIVING from this", and that's that.

under 2000W will NOT produce enough to supply 3 people (unless you guys just smoke an eighth now and again),...I am a medical user and I can easily burn through an EIGHTH A DAY, sometimes more if I'm super nauseated after a treatment.

in other words I run nearly the wattage you are planning on, I keep the grow PACKED at all times (it's empty for maybe a few hours after harvest) and I just barely have a little extra to sell back to the clubs and it's just me.

I'm not saying it CAN'T work, but you SERIOUSLY need to RE-THINK your plan
1) more wattage= hire an electrician, build the thing WAY over the current code (so you can expand if needed)
2) NO PARTNERS= everyone is right on the money here
3) WAIT TILL YOU ARE MAKING COIN, before quitting your day job
4) hide in plain sight=give the passerby/neighbor EXACTLY what they EXPECT to see/hear/smell, and no one will be LOOKING for your grow
don't tell ANYONE, never go to the hydro store in a car registered at the growing address, NEVER TELL ANYONE.
you don't really have to worry about the cops if your legal, but that's several THOUSAND dollars worth of some pretty desirable shit, getting
ROBBED is more of a concern,...so don't tell ANYONE.

your heading in the right direction, but your car is a yugo, and you loaded it with 22,000lbs, and are now heading up a 30% grade (your not going to make it in THAT car)

sounds sweet man, but having one partner sucks, i couldnt imagine having 2. If you want to make a living growing you will need more than just 1 place. Have you added up all the equipment it is going to take to start a big grow? Also cutting holes in walls and roofs to run ducting? It takes a ton of planning and alot of money. Hope all goes good for you though, anything can be done.

I think a lot of people maybe see a little bit of their once former, young, unexperienced and somewhat foolish selves in this young mans plan. It strikes a nostalgic chord with them, and repeatedly smashing down his aspirations is almost therapeutic in releasing pent-up stress from the failures of the yester-year.

Haha, I really don't know why. Maybe it's because when you ask a question, and everyone knows the answer, they all feel the need to drop a line?

I'm leaning more towards the: "I wish someone had told ME" syndrome.

yeah some venting by some but also really good wisdom and advice. here is some math: 1200w you will get maybe 1lb 4 or 5 times a year. do the math, subtract gear, nutes, utilities, then split that 3 ways = your 1/3rd cut.

grow a pound of hemp and see how that feels because you ignored mites and over fertilized.

haha pretty much it, standard in ALL business i might add. You dont see senior stockbrokers being all friendly to the newjacks with ambitions. im in used car sales and its the same, the older guys do whatever they can to keep the younger generation as just salesman instead of pushing their own cars. older growers dont want 100 new growers on the scene flooding shit and making things hot. makes perfect sense, but if its a solid business plan most will still agree. ICBUDZ plan however is not that solid, involves many red flags that have brought down hundreds before him.

again thanks alot for the replies
im considering a lot of things right now.
mainly keeping my first plan but telling my buddies im just gonna do it as i side job still have them sell a bag for me hear and there. and work with my old man to keep a steady income. pops havein a hard time with the physical labor thats where ill come in + hes the Jack of all trades. so im gonna learn a lot, everything construction related that i know he has tought me, he does all types of remodling and occasionally does kitchens in new homes
